We told Josie and Rachel our plan and we got ready to leave they went and got everybody ready and got some food and water ready and grabbed the weapons and got ready to leave I heard Josie say to Rachel "do you wanna do a speech before we leave" "sure" Rachel said "Oi everybody" she called out "be careful, dont die"

"Great we're all bloody inspired" Josie said then she came to me and newt "you two lead the way" I nodded then went to Rachel "I need the device" I said she nodded then handed me it

I walked over to Emily "you take this Emily and go with newt, once we get there there's a door and it will open with this device activate it and we will be right behind you" she nodded then took the device from my hands

"Everybody ready, lets go" I screamed out then I ran into the maze leading the group beside newt "you ready" I thought in my head 'I have a bad feeling' he said 'probably just nervous' then he took my hand and we kept on running until we got to sector 7

We hid around a corner and I looked out and saw three grievers, I came back around to the group "there's three split into groups ill take left Rachel take middle and Josie you take right and newt and Emily you open the gate" everyone nodded then I did a countdown "one two three" I yelled out "CHARGE" I yelled out

We all started running except newt who was limping I got out my arrows and aimed it at the griever and shot it, it didn't go down but I kept shooting at it

Once we got super close I let my seventh arrow go and it hit the griever straight in the head "Newt, Emily go everyone else help attack"

We kept on fighting and fighting until Emily scrememed out "CHARLOTTE, THERE'S A CODE 8 NUMBERS" then suddenly it all clicked in my head the sequence "Rachel what the sequin in which the maze was made"

"What" Rachel yelled "the order in which the sections where made" i yelled out. Rachel kept calling the numbers but I was busy trying to fight off the other grievers then someone called out "Rachel above you" but it was to late a griever came crashing down ontop of her but she put a spear through it's teeth stopping it from eating her

She was screaming and I saw it's saliva, Rachel couldn't last any longer underneath that thing u was about to go in and save her but then I saw Julie emerge from the group of girls and stabbed her spear right through the grievers eyes

But once it let go of Rachel it grabbed Julie's two legs and started eating her "get them out!" she screamed out in her last words

"JULIE" I heard Josie scream out but Emily yelled over her "what's the rest if the sequence" then Rachel continued calling the numbers

Once she finished we all heard a loins noise then I saw the doors start to shut

One by one they fell down but the last griever all most got to us but I released my arrow and hit it and the door came crashing down ontop if it

It was disgusting but as soon as that happened our door closed up and we all yelled we where all holding hands I was trying to communicate to newt but it was hard with everybody scared
