"Sophia is adopted", I said, while I desperately wished if she would have been my own daughter.

"Wait? I am fucking confused. Where are Ryan and Ivaan?", she asked me raising one of her eyebrows.

She often does it when she is confused. I've noticed it a lot more time when she used to sit in the examination hall and didn't know the correct option.

"Ryan lives with Ivaan, while I live here with Sophia.", I replied hoping that she got the answers to all her questions.

But I was wrong.

"Okay then, why doesn't he live with you?", she questioned and I didn't know how to react to it.

"Ivaan's job doesn't permit him to live with me.", I lied, I didn't want to spoil the mood of a 'soon to be bride.'

"Oh! Okaaayy.", she replied trying to feed some sense to her stupid brain.

"So that's the story. I got it now. But I wish I could've been with you. I am sorry. That's all I could say.", she said, guilt pouring down her white cheeks.

"I wouldn't have been this strong if you were there to help me.", I replied calmly.

I didn't want her to feel any sort of guilt for any fucking reason.

"So now that I've listened the whole story. You need to clearly listen what I am going to say now.", she emphasised, returning back to her normal crude self.

"I am heading back to my place after a few hours and then I'll be flying off to England. You have to come to my wedding or I'll never be coming back to meet you throughout my life time.", she commanded.

"Aye aye madam.", I chortled, while she started explaining about her prince Charming, and her soon to be foreign lifestyle.

I was keen to listen what all she was saying, paying attention to her each and every word.

I cannot explain how her eyes lit up while she talks about her fiance, and how madly she seems to love him.

I wish they stay forever.

And above all, I wish they live longer.

"Unlike me.", I whispered under my breath, hoping her not to hear what I just said.

"Did you say anything?", she asked, completing her talks about her future life.

"Nothing. I am happy for you.", I exclaimed and she hugged me back in excitement.

"Good morning mumma. I woke up right now", I heard Sophia's soft words and we looked up the stairs, while she was climbing them down, with her one hand rubbing her eyes, while the other hand sliding down the textured railing.

"Good evening sweetheart.", I chuckled seeing her lovely cute face.

"Masi? Are you ready to play with me?", she babbled.

"Not without pinky panky and growling dinosaur", Ella declared while the living room echoed with our laughters.
