The mystery of the rock-walled city was further unravelled when Charlotte said quietly "Luzandra's territory... Be aware!" Hardly anyone of them had moved when some music was heard like that produced by a bagpipe and before anyone could say or do anything the rattling of corroded iron chains was heard as slowly but surely the gates started to move apart to reveal what almost seemed like a market. With stalls and children of different ages up to 18.
These changes had caused the 4 to move closer subconsciously, so even the whispers were easily heard as Belladonna said "ofcourse, look there is a small room on top of the rock wall of the right gate. It's how they come to know of visitors and ..."
"-and" asked Peter
"And enemies." Charlotte finished.
Moving across the land, the evidence of their anomality was provided as almost everyone stopped their work to look at them, looks which made them feel as if they were some hideous aliens for the various expressions were far more inclined towards disgust rather than amusement.
Observing the not-so-unexpected reaction in Luzandra's territory, David came to the conclusion that almost everyone there looked rough and by no means children. A thought which was second by Peter as he whispered to David "I bet even a 10 year-old here can defeat both of us in a fight."
"Luckily, we got back-up" David replied eyeing the girls as both of them giggled. Glancing back, Belladonna rolled her eyes and gave Charlotte a what-are-they-upto look but Charlotte just moved her head sideways, partially smiling, as she said
"And they say girls gossip."
The line very well shut the boy-giggles up for good.
As they reached the centre of the place, the hungry eyes still surveying them, they saw a wooden floor, which looked more of a dance floor, made by strong-looking, wooden boxes. But what caused them to stop walking and an almost eerie silence to fall over the whole crowd was the gemstudded throne on which sat Luzandra.

"I've been waiting for you" she said as she suspiciously examined the four but with a fierce expression. David couldn't help but think what had they done which brought hatred from all corners of this place, and surely he seemed to find an explanation in the look that Charlotte had on her face. It was clear, it wasn't her first meeting with Luzandra. And from the rising feeling in David's stomach, it wouldn't be their last either.
Apparently though he and, from the looks of it Peter were more than pleased to act as strangers to the intensity of the silence experienced by both sides.
Finally Charlotte said "Thanks for the cloth-"
"AND-" interrupted Luzandra with an icy, passionate tone in her voice which showed she wanted eagerly to hear something else.
Charlotte replied, with an unexpected cool in her voice "and the warning. Anyways i-"
"What do you want here?"
This time Charlotte rose her voice to say "I want you to let me speak, or do you fear that random order of word coming out of my mouth would be enough to topple you over that stolen chair of yours."
Luzandra's face twitched as with a slight turn of colour of her face, she rose and signalled with her finger, the excitingly listening crowd to disperse.
Quite to the surprise of David even the most tough-looking of people there left the area, deserting it completely in a matter of seconds. Seeing which, David didn't even want to think of the tools Luzandra might have used to induce this kind of fear in the hearts of these kids.
Soon they were left alone with the exception of two boys which stood behind Luzandra, one on either side. Her swift movements made David for the first time notice her luxurious clothing as she stepped down the wooden flooring, wearing a sea blue, open, emerald-studded cape. Which she wore over a dark navy blue shirt and black pants. After one more glance at the four (though David saw Charlotte avert her eyes) she moved on, signalling them to follow. Behind the 4 walked the 2 boys.
Luzandra walked through her territory which David couldn't help but describe as 'poor and rotten'. Reaching a slightly blueish, round but small stone at the edge of the rock wall; she rose her foot and placed the back of her heels on the left hand-top corner of the rock, which David noticed had a small black dot on it. Immediately the rock parted itself at blueish lines on the rock twisted to form an opening of a vast underground area.
