The rest of the day went just fine as their environ was such as that of a picnic. Everything seemed calm & soon the boys saw Charlotte out of her blues , laughing with grandma Linda Good and grandpa John Dawson . Peter was staying with them for a week as his parents had gone out for a buissness trip to Switzerland. With all this hustle bustle darkness bathed the sky into a polished blanket shining with sparkles. At 2:00 in the night Peter woke up to go to go to the loo but just then through a sleepy vision he made out the figure of someone who most probably would be Charlotte going out of the window ,with some gear. Peter's detective rose to unflinching heights & rushed to wake David up in order to help him in what he believed a noble task to find the aims of the strange thief! So the boys went outside tiptoeing only to find that Charlotte had disappeared. David was furiuos upon seeing this - nothing
and said
" Is this what you wake me up for at this freezing hour!"
Peter smiled and said "no that..." and he pointed to a little burrow at the bottom of a tree.
David, disgusted, said " brilliant. That's a rabbit hole and it has been there for years."
" even though you've never checked what's inside it"
" yes ! .. rabbits!!" Came David in a half annoyed half blunt tone.
But Peter was one step ahead of David and pulled him towards the rabbit hole and without a second's resistance pushed him and screamed " down the trouble, off we goooooo" and jumped in after David who was screaming the daylights off and just then realised that the rabbit burrow was longer than they thought.

They went until they stopped screaming but just then fell with a dull thud on the ground ( in the end they were too shocked to see a surface that no voice came out of their mouth). Later they both roared in pain and then realised that they had fallen on a floor with tiles!!
Wide eyed, they looked around to see an infinite hall!!! Without thinking any thing at all They

Walked but there came no end to the walking until , exhausted , they sat down on the off-white tiles and David, gasping, said
" I think we should go back"
"But how? We are so far away from that opening"
"Who said"david came gasping again upon hearing Peter's reply and Peter made a face upon hearing this while David raised an eyebrow and both raised their heads to see the hole above them and realised 2 things. One, that they had gone in a loop and second they were most unfortunately lost in their own house however one thing they did not understood was, how?there were no turns, no mud ground and no rabbits. Just when these questions were about to explode their heads their heart came onto their hands as they saw Charlotte's head upside down, suddenly appearing out of nowhere in front of their faces, but with her legs holding onto nothing. Seeing their petrified faces she
cheerfully said
" hello!" And pressed a button on a nearby wall and then their heads turned around once more but this time the whole world circled around them or maybe they circled around the whole world as they went upside down and being too shocked and sick to shout they closed their eyes and fell on another tiled ground. They stood-up and saw an angry Charlotte

Until finally Peter said " you know it's pretty weird how you can change your moods like that -"
"What!" Came Charlotte, sotto voce, in trying to gulp down her anger
"Like really quickly you.. ch.. change moods" he made a poker face and dared to meet her eye while David nodded and said
" quiet scary too"
Charlotte rolled those big eyes and delivered a long lecture which surprisingly the boys were able to understand although only partly. She said
" you 2 are the biggest dummies I know... that was an illusion which wasn't even of a good technology and you could have ended that illusion and find me if you would have carefully looked down at the ground while walking(starts walking like a chicken) or infact you could've simply touched this button ( pointing at the button she pressed) which was in front of you this whole damn time. Now( getting a little calm) I don't know how you came here(speaking in a British accent) and nor am I interested in finding it out so with all due respect ( takes a deep breath) leave ( saying it bluntly, still in her British accent) ."
Peter without waiting started fruitless attempts to climb the hole back up while David said calmly to Charlotte
" come-on we just wanted to know where you were going ... perhaps I think we could be friends"
Charlotte at this clearly said with a poker face
" listen mister I can take care of myself and don't need two hopeless grown-ups to supervise"
she said it in her normal accent and then said giving her words the British taste again
" clearly you two are nothing but chronic case-! "
Peter interrupted "grown-ups! Darn it we're the same age!!"
Then all of a sudden to the surprise of both of them tears filled her eyes and she walked away and into the only door right ahead of them ( the boys) .
