Next morning when he woke up the first thing he did was scream as he saw a completely unfamiliar face starring at him. When David came back to his senses he realised that the never-before-seen boy's face was a little familiar and unconsciously his brain linked it to Mr. Steve's.
"Steve you must be Steve's grandson!" The words raced out of David's mouth.
"It is Mr. Steve for you." Said the boy with a look of disgust on his face.
David was rather taken aback by it but more than that he minded the i-am-perfect tone of the boy and even thought of saying that if Steve was so important than they should have refused to leave him here but in a split second controlled his tongue(during thinking all this he had stood up from his carpet-kum-bed) instead his mouth lipsed the general words in order to know the name and whereabouts of the parents of this particularly rude boy however he didn't got the answer he expected as the boy said
" whatever my name is it is none of your business and who are you to ask about my parents eh? Aren't you busy enough taking care of your own."
According to David this was the rudest and most mean thing he had ever heard in his life but he replied in a normal tone
" I haven't got any to take care of."
This statement of his came rather deep from his heart and yet he felt nothing as his mouth moved up and down to deliver this heavily-empty line.
The boy also did not show any particular reaction to this infact he said
" well don't expect me to say sorry. I am here to meet Mr. Steve and it is Mr. Steve whom I want to see so be a good lad and find him."
That was the limit for David and he replied in a changed tone
" well if it is Mr. Steve whom you are so dearly looking after as if we have abducted him or something than go help yourself. I am no servant of your's to answer this question"
David said that with finality and Walked away. The boy got rather astonished on this reply coming from a boy who seemed way too polite for his-own-good and as David was leaving he grabbed his voice and shouted behind him
" actually you are right I am peter and I always find my way myself." But by this time David had gone far away. He didn't liked Peter ; he was proud, selfish & a spoiled boy. Later, however, David regretted his words and his tone. He believed that by doing the same cruel thing which others have done to you would finish all differences between you and that same person whom you so disgust plus he simply doesn't like being hard on people nor did he like to fight or sound rude but Peter had forced him to become what he hated and David admitted that to survive in a tough world without your parents you have to be tough. There were some depressing times like this in which he wanted to be alone but also wanted to talk. The clash of such emotions used to further drag him in anxiety when finally after sometime he used to feel ... nothing -
His heart used to get empty. Such feelings had increased after the transfer of 2 of his best friends from the neighborhood. He used to get very rude when some-one used to disturb him at such times so to avoid that confrontation ( with Mrs. Laura Annabeth most probably) and the regretful feeling after that he started writing and found it an effective way to cheer himself up. That was when he understood why everyone in the old house had their personal diary.
Assalam-au-alaikum MARAUDERS!!!hope you all are doing well you see that every-one has a side which is most dominantly shown to others and then there is this side full of faults which is private and kept to yourself only. This was that side of David!!!! If you liked it please vote and drop your comment!!!!+++++++++
