The next morning Charlotte, Peter and David helped each other in completing house chores or atleast tried to help as they often got into useless arguments and ended up throwing things at each other. However it led to David escaping his kitchen work since Mr. Christian just could not afford any food on the ground or on the aprons of these 3 angry birds. By night time Charlotte came to know her penalty which was to do gardening as all the flowers were dying due to no one being able to care for them plus it seemed at the only job she appeared to be interested in which meant she could do it well otherwise everything else she tried that day resulted in a bigger mess!
Next day David woke up early to find Charlotte working In the garden. As he approached her David said
" the way you are working it's either you never want this work to finish or you cannot survive this penalty any longer."
Charlotte smiled and said
"It's none." David nodded and then Charlotte said with a raised eyebrow " I didn't expected you to be such an early riser ...um" she didn't finish her sentence completely while David sighed, rolled his eyes and then sitting down with the intention of helping her said " I've never heard some-one snoring before- ." Charlotte broke into a laugh interrupting him and said
" you've seriously never heard some-one snore before "
David made an obvious face saying" how many people do you think I 've shared a room with throughout my life"
"Ahan! None ofcourse" She said her eyes still sparkling upon hearing this fact.
David smiled adding an " 'ahan!' " tauntingly and then said " perhaps Peter is a horrible .... snorer (waiting for finding the right word) I just cannot bear him for another night. "
Charlotte stood up nodding and said " come-on let's go to the burrow you can help me with some spy work ."
Upon hearing the word 'spy' David fell into deep thoughts and walked silently while Charlotte kept talking non-stop until she reached the laboratory when she realized the senseless silence and said "is anything bothering you... you seem to not be LISTENING TO ME" she said out loud making David realise that he was being addressed at which he abruptly said
" I'm sorry is there anything you said ." Charlotte stopped and said
" okay , alright spill the B-E-A-N-S " David took a deep breath and said "Charlotte do you know what's a ...a zogger-bite?"
Charlotte's eyes opened wide at this and she said in a whisper " what Is a zogger-bite ?"
David had been boiling to get details about this device since a long time but at the unexpected reaction / question of Charlotte (he was sure she would know of this device) only an "um.." came out
Charlotte big eyes understood his disappointment and spilled the truth with a smile covering her face
" it's a top secret ! Honestly how did you even come to know of this I mean my parents were agents and I didn't know any A-B-C of this zogger-bite till I came across it's partly written information in an unknown and unnamed book in the agency's library. " David listened carefully as she continued " it's technically a sort of a device, a strong one but it's function was not written in the book only this that it was destroyed as it caused heavy destruction." She changed her casual tone into a serious one saying
" Anyways how do you know about this ?"

Since you guys know how David found about the zogger-bite (but not Charlotte)so probably the curiosity could wait ! I'll try my best to update the next chapter much quicker!!
