Down the trouble off we go

Next morning the thief had escaped from her room and it took 2 hours alongwith every member of the old-house to find her in the back garden planting some flowers. This time it was Mrs. Kate Lawrence who sighted her and said in her usual conposed manner " oh! The... THE GIRL IS HERE." She shouted to call others from all corners of the house it was weird how even her shout didn't appeared to be a shout.
Mr. William Radcliffe was the first to come crawling but with such force it seemed that he was putting in his crawling and with both his hands moving sidewats came in a manner of running though it is not to be forgotten that he was infact crawling. As he came he said
" well i ... IMPOSSIBLE.. i ..  she ... i came here and she wasn't here .. what a second ago" he said rather astonished at seeing the girl busy at her job and not even taking notice of them though they knew she was listening rather attentively . Mrs. Venus Hathaway came at that point in her usual walking manner which indicated as if she owned the place and said " second ago-  your second is a normal person's  hour  your time-zone has lasped i am telling you grump-grump your mental health is declining"
"I AM NOT GRUMP-GRUMP!" Came he grumpily
Mrs. Venus Hathaway opened her sarcastic to mouth to say something sarcastic when Mrs. Kate Lawrence said " dears SHUT-up" while widening her eyes upon saying 'shut'.
By that time every-one including David had gathered around and Mrs. Linda good said " thank you so much Kate . " then sighed at others and it seemed as if she had a lot more to say anyhow she gulped her thoughts and advanced towards Charlotte with David walking slightly ahead of her.

David thought how weirdly a place is larger than one think. It old-house always appeared to be a normal 2-storey house standing between a house on one side and a long and large  plain plot on the other side with a front and back yard towering the house. It being very ordinary gave a weird shivering feeling to David and he was aware that upon seeing it from the eyes of a stranger the first thing that would would cross your mind was the mysterious history of the house even though the inhabitants knew none.

By that time Mrs. Linda was carefully and quietly observing Charlotte busy in planting who till now took no notice of the people. Breaking the eerie silence that had settled David said shaking himself from his thoughts
  " whoa!! We thought you ran away "
Charlotte gave a blunt look and didn't answer. David said again "uh! Is anything wrong?" Still no change in the face and she stood up and ingoring all walked inside the house.
At that time Mr. William Radcliffe said
" what's wrong with that girl."
It was more of a statement than a question and Mrs. Georgia White added in blunt/ annoyed tone
" for a moment I thought she was cursed!" Any how tge people went inside and got to their regular jobs of eating, sitting , crawling and complaining about each other though using sweet words such as ' dear i hate your taste in clothes". All this time Charlotte was busy murmuring a song tk herself , enjoying everything and writing something down on a big old notebook doing all this while sitting on a couch near the window. Then at noon Peter arrived and the first thing he did was to peek at Charlotte and say " what the heck are you murmuring about?." While charlotte just sighed and said nothing. David came to Peter and said " don't worry she had been acting like that since morning grandma Georgia thinks she is cursed." Peter rose an eyebrow on hearing the word grandma but before David could answer Charlotte finally broke the silence to say " what do you expect an innocent teenage girl to do when she sees two morons standing on her head" and she closed her notebook causing some dust to flow from it and marched away. Peter said after she had left to David "and i thought she was only half mad" David smiled and then told him that he had decided to call everyone in the old-house either grand-pa or grandma from now on though he did not tell Peter that the idea of this came to him from hearing Peter call his grandpa dastepe. Peter was amused by this and said in meer excitement
"hey!! I was thinking just the same thing before coming here... maybe we have telepathy or something " they both started laughing.
