the changes in our mindset,
are triggered by the first spring sunset

Tuesday, 2:31pm.

Juno was rushing to get ready, she had taken a shower just a few minutes ago.

"Someone's nervous for her date." Ayumu teased.

"GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY ROOM!" Juno yelled.

Juno wouldn't accept that she was nervous, and pretty sensitive right now, since she can't decide what to wear to see Mitsuya.

Ayumu stood at the door, "Do you need help ma'am?"

Juno scoffed, "Just shut up and help me."

Ayumu laughed at his sister's surrender, he stood in front of the mess of clothes laying on Juno's bed. Juno was wrapped around in a towel, if she weren't wet already, it would seem that she was sweating.

"Let's see..." Ayumu said, reaching out for a plain black shirt.

Juno shook her head, "Too simple."

Ayumu raised his eyebrows, "Okay, how about this one?"

Ayumu waved a red shirt that Juno had worn once, after that, the shirt was left in the closet abandoned.

"Too showy, I don't want him to get the wrong idea." Juno said, rubbing her temples.

Ayumu gasped, "Yes this one." He picked up a black shirt, with a huge purple butterfly graphic.

Juno smiled, "You're a lifesaver."

"Forever and always!" Ayumu sang as he turned around to leave.

Juno continued to get ready, drying her hair, putting her clothes on, which consisted of a pair of ripped jeans and the shirt Ayumu had helped her choose.

"Damnit where is my fucking mascara?" Juno mumbled.

It sat underneath a pile of mail on her dresser, Juno grinned once she found it, Juno continued to curl her eyelashes and apply mascara.

After a few minutes of frantically searching for her lipgloss, she applied a small amount, not too much, but not leaving her lips bare.

Juno sat on her bed, impatient for the clock to turn 4.

She searched for a pair of shoes, white sneakers that she would only use on special occasions.

'do i even look nice?' Juno thought while observing herself in the mirror that hung behind her door.

Juno's thought was interrupted by a knock on the door, as she ran out to answer the door, Ayumu got there before her.

Ayumu taunted Juno before he opened the door.

"Fuck you!" Juno said, flipping her brother off.

Mitsuya stood at the door, "Ayumu-"

Ayumu's face dropped, "Right now, I am not your friend, you are the guy who is taking out my sister. Should I let my sister, my dearest sister, go out with a delinquent?"

"Man- I-" Mitsuya stuttered.

"GODDAMN TAKE A JOKE! AM I THAT SCARY?" Ayumu yelled out before bursting into a laughing fit.

"Get out bro, you scared the shit outta me!" Mitsuya said, rolling his eyes.

"You can come out from hiding!" Ayumu teased.

Juno's face turned slightly pink, stepping out the hallway.

Mitsuya looked at her as if it were the first time, even if they were only hanging out as friends. Mitsuya looked at her dark brown hair, as she came closer to him. Mitsuya locked eyes with her and felt the heat in his cheeks rise.
