recurring visions of such sweet days
"Juno where are your fucking pills?" Ayumu asked Juno, who sat on her bed.
Juno shrugged, "Mom took them, I suppose."
Ayumu shook his head, "Be more responsible with this shit."
"You're the one talking." Juno mumbled under her breath.
"Damn could you shut up?" Ayumu replied.
Juno glared at him, "You're not the only one anxious at the fact you might trip up in front of people."
"More specifically, the people we like!" Ayumu added, Juno seemed unamused.
Juno was left alone in her room again. Ayumu was preparing a bag so they would go to the skatepark, which had become part of their weekly routine over the years. Sometimes Daiya would join them, but that's once a month when she's allowed to go out, which is why Ayumu seems so moody. Although, today Takashi would join them as well.
Juno stood in front of her mirror, she felt too casual but she can't over dress because she is going to the literal skatepark.
"FOUND THEM!" Ayumu said, running down the hall, barging into Juno's room again. Juno looked at him, "I don't know why mom doesn't believe in this stuff! It's supposed to help you."
"She doesn't believe in Alcoholics Anonymous either."
"That makes sense, now take your..." Ayumu said, pausing to read the label, "Your weekly vitamin D pills since you're fucking sick and dying!"
"Funny." Juno said blankly.
They walked out the apartment a few minutes later, Juno carried her own board, and an extra one she would gift to Takashi. She had only used it a few months, it wasn't so screwed up like her other ones, or her recent one.
Her recent one was a DGK Zen skateboard, the brand name stood in the middle in a black square surrounded by cherry blossoms. Now after being busted up, it had scratches and the typical doodles.
The board Juno didn't use as much, was one her father had bought for her. A DGK Boo Prosperity skateboard, it was a cream color with a chained green dragon. Juno loved the deck, the design, but the Zen skateboard had launched in winter, just in time for Christmas, so she used her money to buy it.
Juno and her brother quickly arrived at Takashi's apartment, when he was just exiting.
"Ayumu! Mochizuki!" Takashi said with a wide smile.
Juno waved, "I got you a present!"
Ayumu stood behind, he didn't feel like third wheeling. "Disgusting." He muttered, laughing with himself.
"Is that one of your boards?" Takashi asked, he was wearing a thin black hoodie, with baggy jeans and a pair of tattered shoes, his headphones rested on his neck, along with his chain necklace. His black earring with gray crosses continued to stay on his ear, Juno wondered where the other one was.
Juno nodded, "It's the one I had before Cherry, shes brand new, practically at least, I didn't really do much since it got sent around October, and I got Cherry on Christmas."
"Cherry?" Takashi asked.
Juno pointed at the backpack Ayumu carried, Cherry sat inside of the backpack, half of the deck peaking out. "Cherry."
"Cool." Takashi smiled. Juno handed over the skateboard to Takashi, who examined it over, "Bruh, this shit is hella cold."
"That's why I had it sitting around on a shelf." Juno said, "But I thought she might need to be used once."
