19. thanksgiving day

Juno walked nervously as the chilly air made her legs tremble, Ayumu walked next to her supporting her.

"You'll be fine!" Ayumu said, patting her back, "His mom is hella chill."

"Yeah. You're his FRIEND! I'm THE girl." Juno stated.

Ayumu rolled his eyes, "God, you're so stubborn."

"It's just, what am I supposed to say?" Juno asked, "Oh yeah, hi! I'm Mochizuki Juno, the girl upstairs, my mom is the alcoholic you find throwing up randomly outside apartments! Yeah I'm the girl who's cleaning up after her, and I've fallen for your son!" Juno said sarcastically, mocking a smile and laugh.

"You're taking this too damn seriously." Ayumu said, "You said that you guys aren't even together!"

Juno chuckled lightly, "I suppose so? Yeah, he hasn't asked me out."

"I don't know why he's taking so damn long, it's been MONTHS of you guys flirting and YEARS of fawning for each other!" Ayumu argued, "Honestly, I get so pissed on how he wants you but doesn't literally tell you shit."

"Whoa, where did this protective brother act come from?" Juno teased.

"Ever since he actually started getting closer to you! This guy is a literal gang member, are you sure you like him?" Ayumu asked.

"You're one too!" Juno replied.

Ayumu shook his head, "I am talking about Mitsuya Takashi, not myself."

"I do like him Ayu, I really do." Juno said.

Ayumu shrugged, "Weirdo."

The two stood in front of the door, Juno nervously knocked, a weak knock. Once the door started unlocking, Juno's heart sank. She was so nervous, she probably couldn't even remember her own name.

"Goodnight Ms. Mitsuya." Juno said formally.

The woman chuckled, "No need for formalities, you can call me Iza. Now get inside quickly, it's cold out."

Juno nodded, her and Ayumu shuffled into the warm apartment that smelled exquisite. She understood where Takashi got his cooking skills from. Fast footsteps were heard from the hallway, Luna and Mana rushed to Juno, who was sitting on the couch beside Ayumu.

"JUNO!" Luna yelled out.

Mana was fidgeting excitedly, "Could you do our hair?"

"PLEASE!" The two girls yelled out.

Juno chuckled, she hugged the two girls, "Of course. One at a time."

"I want 2 braids!" Luna said, sitting down on the floor in between Juno's legs.

"Then you shall get 2 braids." Juno giggled.

Juno combed Luna's hair, she started braiding her hair carefully, soon enough she was forming beautiful french braids. Luna got up and caressed the braids, she was happy.

"Thank you Juno!" Luna said, jumping up and down.

Mana giggled, "My turn!"

Mana sat down with Juno as well, Mana's hair was shorter, she formed a small bun at the back of her head. The girl's hair is shiny and silky, easy to run your fingers through. Takashi took care of these girls in every aspect.

"Done!" Juno smiled.

"I'm showing Mama!" Mana said happily.

Another knock on the door was heard, Ayumu walked up to open the door. His face flustered at the sight of the Shiba siblings. Juno already knew Hakkai Shiba, but she was not aware of Yuzuha Shiba. A feeling struck her, it stung a little.
