Alex's POV

"Where were you at 10:30 a.m. yesterday?"

I started remembering what I was doing. Being a superhero teen while having school is difficult. You have to be in the class and save people in a bus with failed breaks. And then answer your brother with excuses that he might believe. A voice disturbed my thoughts.

"Where were you Al?" Oliver asked glaring at me.

"I....was in...... the library." I replied.

"You should've been in the chemistry class!" He yelled.

My eyes widened. It was the first time I saw my brother yell at me.

He sighed. "See, I don't like scolding you but I have to tell mom and dad what we do everyday and since the last three days I am lying to them about you being in class. I don't know why you're not in the right class at the right time so this, I'll have to ground you."

"But today I was going to see a movie with my friends in the evening."  I whined.

Oliver stared at me.

I rolled my eyeballs ."Ok, I will not go, fine?"

He nodded "Good, now go to your room".

I went upstairs to my room . Tikki flew out of my jacket.

"It happened with my former owner also. She too was busy saving the city and missed a lot of classes because of that ." She said.

"Yeah Tikki, with great powers come great chance of missing school and being grounded."

We both laughed. "But I really wanted to go there, especially because Emma is coming too. Tsk!"

I took my phone and called Hugo.

"Hey man. I cannot come today."

"Why not, Emma is coming."

"Well I'm grounded and like a good kid I have to follow the rules."

"Aw that sucks! "

"I know, but my brother just wants the best for me. Maybe next time." I disconnected  the call after.

"Let's complete the homework, maybe Oliver reduces my punishment." I said and Tikki nodded.

Emma's POV

"She wasn't in the class that day and you both do nothing. Why?" Hugo said.

"Maybe your sister had some good reason, isn't it so Emma?" Dad asked me.

I nodded.

"Dad you always take her side but mom today even you."  Hugo said, angrily.

"See I'm not taking a side but your father is right. Your sister was home with us because she was feeling ill in class." Mom said, keeping  her point and also making an excuse for me.

Well even I am surprised my mom and dad were taking my side even when I had bunked my class for saving Paris with a handsome polka-dot pattern dressed guy. But no one knew this. So why did mom and dad not ground me? This is fishy.

"End of conversation Hugo. Now both of you go to your rooms." Mom said.

"Ah! That's so unfair!" Hugo went to his room saying that.

I felt bad for him but I couldn't argue with mom especially when she wanted to talk to dad alone but for the time being, I should probably go to my room.

Narrator's POV

"Marinette it really is unfair." Adrien said.

"I know but we can't ground or punish our daughter for saving Paris from that LadyMoth."
