Emma's P.O.V:

"Plagg, what would dad want to tell me about?" I asked, putting my bag aside and laying on the bed.

"I don't know, maybe about your cheese obsession, I mean you have been spending a lot on Camembert." He replied, ironically, gulping another piece.

"That can't be an issue, I spend my pocket money on this and most of the cheese I get from the platter." I replied. Maybe he wants to tell me about Cat Noir, that can be it, even in the morning it seemed like that.

*knock* *knock*

"Emma, are you there honey?" Dad, he came in.

"Yeah, I'm coming!" I called out. Plagg was going to the cupboard when I stopped him. He looked at me, his little eyes showing confusion. "Trust me." I whispered and opened the door.

"Emma I wanted to-" He saw Plagg and for a while he and Plagg were conversing eye-to-eye. I need to learn this thing. "Dad, I overheard you and mom talking in the morning,"

"So you-" I interrupted him.

"I may know what you want to tell me. You see, today my mission was in the past, I met Bunnix and...... I met you, like, Adrien Agreste and also as Cat Noir." I paused for a minute.

"Let's sit and talk." He said and I agreed. Dad sat on the bed while I sat on the chair, facing him. After an awkward silence, he spoke up, "Are you disappointed?"

"What? Disappointed? In you? Never dad!" I answered, surprisingly. "Why would you even say that?"

"Well, because you said you met Cat Noir today and I thought maybe you expected him to be a cool guy, not your old man." He said with a half-smile.

"Firstly, you're not just a boring old man,  and I was thrilled to know that my dad was the legendary wielder of the Black Cat miraculous. And I also found out where I get the puns from now." His face lightened up by my words.

"I was just sad about the fact that you did not tell me, I mean of course, you had to keep it a secret, but once I was Ladynoire-"

"I did." He said, cutting me off. "I wanted to but your mom did not agree to it." He sighed and continued. "To be honest, I did not want you to have the miraculous. When Ladybug chose you, I refused but the points she made were quite, convincing." He completed.

"Why did you disagree? Did you think I'll not be able to handle this?" I asked.

"No. Emma, I was a superhero before, and I lost many things, faced a lot of things, I even had to fight against my father so many times. I was just worried about the hazards in this work." He's right, this work is dangerous, I almost lost Misterbug today, and if Cat Noir hadn't been there  too, would have been stuck in the past.

"But I was wrong, you might've made some mistakes but you managed to defeat the Ladymoth every time she comes up with a new villain along with your partner." He patted me and I smiled.

"Thank you, dad. For trusting me, with the miraculous and the secret." I could feel my lips curling into a smile. He gave me a small smile ang pulled me in for a hug.

"I love you dear." He said softly.

"I love you too dad." I replied. We pulled away after a moment. He got up and patted my head, "Good Night, honey. Sleep well." He said before leaving.

I lay on the bed and sighed in relief. "Finally, the secrets are over."

"Yeah..." Plagg said, looking at the floor.

"Plagg, everything alright?"

"Yeah, just a little tired. Good Night." He hurriedly flew into the cabinet. Weird. Huh, what am I even calling weird, I am a cat themed superhero powered by a little magical creature who recharges by eating cheese to fight a person who turns people into villain that are powered by moths. I should get some sleep.

3rd Person P.O.V :

Adrien closed the door behind and sighed, his head down and  a frown replacing the smile. He walked down the stairs, where his lady was waiting.

"You told her everything?" She asked, her face not giving any expressions. She already knew the answer, but still wanted to confirm.

"No, I just told her about myself. Nothing of Ladybug, The Guardian of the Miraculous." He spoke, in a low tone.

Marinette's face softened and she put a hand on his shoulder. "Adrien I know-"

"She looked at me with so much belief, so much trust that her father had told her everything, that now there were no secrets between me and her. I don't like this feeling."

"Don't worry, we'll reveal all secrets once the time is right. I promise." Marinette said.

Adrien lifted his face and looked at her, "I felt something like this would happen if the miraculous was given to someone in the family. Secrets. Always hated them."

"I know," she ran her hand through his hair, "it hurts me too, but at least we can tell Emma half the secrets, unlike Loui and Hugo." Adrien nodded.

"It's late, let's go sleep." Marinette said and held his hand. They walked to their room with heavy hearts.
