To the Past

Emma's P.O.V:

Finally, summer vacations....no school, just fun and somewhat superhero work but at least there will be no interference in my school life. Just today and then I'll be back to school after the break. "You done plagg?" I asked the hungry creature devouring it's meal while sitting on the table. He gulped the last piece of cheese on the plate and flew up to me. "Ready for the last day of school." He said.

"Technically it's not the last day of school." I said and he rolled his eyes. "Can we please go?"

I smiled and he flew into my side-bag, while going downstairs I heard mom and dad talking. I know it's bad to eavesdrop but..... ok I've got to alibi. I crept near to the door of their room and putting my ear to the door, tried to listen to their conversation. 

"I think we should tell her Marinette, how long do you plan on hiding this?" Is he talking about me?

"Adrien, it's really soon and I don't think I can tell her that yet." 

"Then I think I should tell her that." What is this 'that' they're talking about? I heard footsteps advancing towards the door and moved to the stairs. Dad came out and I was descending the stairs when he called me. "Em, I've got to talk to you about something."

"Y-yeah sure. What is th- I mean it? " I asked.

"You ok? You sound nervous." He asked.

"Yes, I'm totally fine, it's just that the vacations are starting from tomorrow so I'm a little excited."

"Oh..okay, well I have to tell you-" He was interrupted by my brothers rushing downstairs. "Gotta steal Em. Last day of school, video game tournament, byee." Hugo said and took my arm as he ran out of the house along with me and Loui.

"Hugo what's the rush?" I asked while being dragged by him.

"Video game tournament is the rush. I've been preparing with big bro since the last two days." He replied and we reached the school gate. Once the three of us stopped, I asked another question. "But Loui isn't in the same school as us, then why is he your partner?"

"Oh, he's not my partner, Cassandra is. Loui helped me train." Hugo replied and we waved Louis off as he walked ahead. I entered the school with him. "Wait, if Cass is your partner, whom am I playing with?"

"Oh sissy, you're playing with Alex. I and Cass are your opponents."

"And who decided this?"

"T-the chits of course, which happened last week." Oh yeah. I absolutely forgot about that.

"Hey Em, hello partner." Cass greeted us both with a high-five. "I hope you know that this time I'm playing against you, so pull up your socks, right Hugo?" Cass smirked and Hugo nodded. 

"I think you guys need to put in some effort coz I am trained by my mother and father, a champion video game duo." I let my Ladynoire persona take charge for a minute.

"Let's see." Cass said and I saw Alex enter the school. "I'll see you guys in class then." I said and they nodded before leaving. 

I waved at Alex who seemed to be confused. "Hey Alex." I said and walked to him. He is always sorta weird around me, I wonder why.

Alex's P.O.V:

Emma is waving at me? Why? Wait, she is. Oh my god! Emma Agreste is waving at me! No, no Alex control yourself else she'll think you're a weirdo. Ohkk she's advancing towards me, how do I calm down? Breathe in, breathe out, nope not working. "Hi Emma." I said.

"We're partners remember?" She said. Partners? Like partners in crime? Partners in-

"Partners in the video game tournament." She added. Obviously, what was I even thinking?
