03 | 𝘍𝘈𝘔𝘐𝘓𝘠

𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗗 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗥𝗢𝗘'𝗦 𝗣𝗢𝗩

as i finished my makeup and was about to leave the room the telephone on my desk rang

seriously! can whoever is calling call me after school? i'm supposed to be in the car

i groaned as i walked to my desk

"hello?" i asked

"rosa, can you maybe like.. pick me up today" i heard lilac say, but similar to how she was acting on monday, she seemed sad

"yeah of course. i'll be there in 5" i said before leaving my room and walking downstairs

"bye rosie!" mom yells from the kitchen

"bye mom!" i yell back before walking out the door

when i walked out the door and looked around i noticed it was cloudy, and from what the news told me it's supposed to rain, maybe storm

i hate storms!

rain is fine, it's actually relaxing. but storms, no. first of all light literally flashes in the sky, which is weird. second of all, storms make alot of noise, which is annoying when your trying to sleep

by the time i finished ranting about how shitty storms are i made it to lilac's house

she was standing outside on her porch before she spotted me, her face lit up as she ran up to my car and opened the door

"hey girl" she says

"hey, what's up?" i asked

"quinn dropped out of college and now she's living in alice's old room!" she said

"seriously?! i thought she was like some goody two shoes who would grow up to be some boring nurse!" i responded in disbelief

"guess not. she's currently going through her 'nobody loves me and i'm going to die lonely' phase" she sighed out

"isn't she a little to old to be going through the phase. like come on, the women's going to be 21 in november!" i questioned

"she's just a little slow" said lilac

"a little?" i joked, making both of us laugh

i'm not the type to make jokes like that, but speaking lilac hates her family for reasons i don't ever want to speak about, i'm sure she doesn't mind it. and if she did she did she would have told me already

her family is huge

for example;

she has 9 siblings

christian; he just turned 30. he's my favorite sibling. gossiping with him is so fun, i found out so many things about people just from him. and like he's the only sibling that lilac actually likes.

jack; his name is boring and basic, no offense to anyone named jaxon. he's also an asshole, he works as a school teacher somewhere in san francisco, i feel bad for the kids.
