shi is a very adaptable individual, known to have a very flexible mind that can quickly re-strategise and reevaluate things that he had previously thought strongly in to be true. because of his logical leaning brain he's always thinking ahead and anticipating the next moves of people, whether he's in a fight or debating others around him his mind tends to be two or three steps ahead already, getting ready to counterattack things that have yet to even happen. shi is very composed, rarely getting worked up even if he gets passionate about something, not allowing for emotion to cloud his actions and judgement too much, the young man coupling his composure with a magnetic charm, having a way with people that draws them to him.

one thing that shi prides himself on is his convictions, he holds strong beliefs about certain things, especially society and the role of the individual within it and that hasn't wavered since the day he committed to them. shi is a very honest man, he absolutely hates liars and judges people harshly on how honest they are. shi is independent as he likes to be, moving out from his childhood home as soon as he finished school in order to go to university, while he does rely somewhat on his parents to help him with paying for his living cost he tries to not take too much, and that is because he doesn't want to owe them anything, he hates them having a hold over him and his choices in life. shi is a hardworking guy, always doing his utmost to put in the work towards his degree and also to his part time job which he works at most days when he's free. shi is often stated to be mature for his age, perhaps this is in part due to his career choice or the way he holds himself in social situations, often very quiet and prefers keeping to himself when possible. regardless however he is quite sensible and very responsible when it comes to things in his daily life. shi is both a bit of an optimist and a pessimist, it can completely depend on his mood or the subject that is being discussed, on one hand shi is very positive about people, he thinks that everyone has the capacity to be good, yet on the other hand he is very negative about things like the government and how they've structured things, believing them to be corrupt.

shi is quite the selfless man, he doesn't often do things that would only benefit him and prefers to do things for others that would better benefit them than it would himself. the future god is studious, he enjoys reading up on things and learning whatever he can just for the sake of it, if someone knows something that he doesn't he finds it rewarding and fun to ask them to teach him about what they know, as to shi knowledge is pretty much everything. shi is quite the progressively minded youth, holding views on changing parts of society that don't benefit those who aren't privileged, among his ideals are his desire for clean energy, opening borders to refugees and the acceptance of all sexualities and genders across the spectrum just to name a tiny number of them. which in japanese culture is quite rare and even frowned upon. shi does experience massive swings in mood, while most of the time he is incredibly chill and relaxed, there are times where his mood drops incredibly quickly and he can become very melancholic, thankfully this tends to be fairly reserved to when he's home alone as otherwise he would certainly be asked to ensure he's alright and he can't exactly tell anyone why he is so incredibly sad.

shi's godly marking takes the form of a simple scythe that is small and placed on his inner forearm, it's symbolism being that he is the god of death and reaps the souls of the living.

shi received an obsidian rock on a necklace from thanatos which allows him to enter the astral plane, giving him the ability of flight and interacting with the souls of living things.

- shi speaks japanese and english fluently as his parents wanted him to learn the family's traditional culture and language as well as the language of where they now lived.

- shi is well practiced in bushido, learning the way of his people's warriors the samurai, skilled in the use of the sword and other instruments.

- shi was held to a high standard because of his family lineage, he was expected to be a doctor as his family moved to america so he could get the best education possible. despite shi not having that passion he did as his parents wished and went to medical school.
