I hope that you enjoy it and that it helps keep your spirits up. I also hope that you look forward to more of the insanity and craziness this story has planned for the future.

UPADTE (8/23/2021): We'll try to upload the correct chapter 6 as soon as we can. Please be patient till then.

14:45

I'm at CiRCLE's cafe taking the time to rest a bit before things kick off later. The live event begins in 105 minutes or 1 hour and 45 minutes. There are already a good number of people already here waiting for the live to start. I can hear different people talking about the different bands that are going to play later. But the name I hear the most is Heart AI. Which is no surprise given how famous she is.

I stand up from my seat and throw my empty can of iced coffee into the trash bin. I then walk towards the entrance when I take notice of something or rather someone.

A girl with dark blue hair and green eyes framed by glasses looking at a poster detailing the schedule of the live event later. She's looking at it rather intently before letting out a troubled sigh.

"I didn't have enough for a ticket... I wish I brought more money with me..." I hear the dark blue-haired girl quietly say to herself with a dejected expression.

"I really wanted to see AI-chan live..." The dark blue-haired girl laments.

The dark blue-haired girl lets out another sigh then turns around to walk away, but she's looking at the ground and about to bump into me.

"Excuse me." I call out to her before she bumps into me.

"Hiiii!" The dark blue-haired girl exclaims as she jumps back and looks at me in shock.

"You were about to bump into me." I explain to her.

"Ah! I'm sorry!" The dark blue-haired girl says as she quickly bows her head in apology.

"It's alright." I reply as I raise my left hand to gesture that it's fine. I then take a quick glance at the poster she was looking at seconds earlier before turning back to her.

"You sounded quite sad back there. You couldn't get a ticket?" I ask the dark blue-haired girl.

"Yeah... I really wanted to see AI-chan perform live... but I didn't have enough money. I also heard that they were out of tickets." The dark blue-haired girl tells me with a downcast expression. After Heart AI announced that she was going to perform live at CiRCLE, we had a sudden surge of people wanting to buy tickets for the live event and it sold out just yesterday.

"If I knew AI-chan was going to perform here before Golden Week started, I would've brought more money with me. I'm only visiting my relatives here for the holidays." The dark blue-haired girl explains.

"I see, that's definitely a shame." I say in a consoling tone.

"I know... This is a really rare chance for me... I really wanted to see her perform live..." The dark blue-haired girl says as she looks like she's on the verge of tears.

This is just too painful for me to see. I can understand what she's feeling. It's like finding something rare or interesting that you want to buy that you might not find again but you didn't have enough money on you to buy it. I've faced similar situations before. Which is why I bring 'emergency funds' with me at all times now.
