"Shit shit shit, hunk! Keith! You fuckers!" A short teen sprinted through the woods as six figures chased after her, they couldn't run but they limped and stumbled after them quickly.

"Come on Pidge!" A larger tan man waved her over as he was in a Volkswagen. An RV started up as well as another two cars that were faster but one was made for taking the lead and hitting items as it had metal to protect the hood and spiked to impale.

"You left me!" She screamed and jumped in the RV as a man with white hair slammed the door behind her as a woman with white hair as well slammed on the gas.

"They're dead to me, I can't believe they left me," Pidge collapsed wheezing as the two cars took off and hunk laughed driving ahead of the RV in his van.

"Where's Keith? I'm killing him," she crawled back up red in the face, not use to running for far.

"I thought she was right behind us," a 20 year old male grinned sitting at the side table of the RV as he had a book for the road.

"Liar! You and hunk laughed," Pidge slammed her hands on the table as Allura smiled back as them as the man raised a brow.

"Hunk would never do something like that, Keith can but hunk can't," Shiro crossed his arms as the two were sitting together.

"Hunk told us to run, I ran," Keith shrugged it off calmly. She kicked him under the table.

"Don't make me get Kuron!" Allura called.

They were silent.

"Your brothers a sociopath, I'm not driving with him," Pidge whispered to Keith.

"He's not my brother," Keith kicked the fifteen year old back.

"No but he's mine so he's yours," Shiro smacked the back of his brothers head walking past. Keith spun around and silently flipped him off with both hands.

"Lotor you in the lead?" Allura grabbed the walkie talkie as she drove behind them all.

"I was, then kuron sped ahead," a British voice said flatly and she rolled her eyes.

"Kuron you aren't allowed to be the lead anymore, you know this!" Allura snapped.

-

A 26 year old man with black hair and matching facial features of Shiro grinned with snake bite piercings under his lips, his right arm full of tattoos and scars.

"Yea well your not really the boss of me sugar tits," Kuron smiled as he had sunglasses over his gold eyes and roared the engine as he sped ahead of them all.

The other car sped up and caught up with the other twin, kuro smirked over seeing Lotor as he had the lead car.

"Your a menace Kuron," Lotor called to him as their windows were down and were racing over 80 mph on the road that originally was 30mph.

"Thank you bastard!" Kuro laughed speeding ahead.

"Yea he's not slowing down, he gets the RV next," Lotor spoke into his communicator as he slowed down to stay with the group.

He heard everyone groan over the walkie talkies.

"How did he break out of prison again?" Keith asked annoyed.

"Having a positive attitude," Kuron responded.

Lotor chuckled to himself as he leaned his arm against the side of the window and drove with one hand, it was relaxing being able to drive with no laws.

It's been three months since the world was destroyed by the chaos. Society was gone, there was no government and no laws, no one knows if their loved ones were dead or not unless they saw them die. Phones and any electronic stopped working after time, there was no power companies to make sure they worked. Most food they needed to be refrigerated were useless, water was getting harder and harder to find but more and more people were dying.

But everyone came back from the dead. And killed anyone that was in view, they were infected and infected anyone they bit or scratched.

They just had to survive.

Lotor and Allura stayed together, having each other's back in the mess that was made, they didn't dare tell a soul of the part they had in the world. They made a backstory as half siblings to explain the white hair and in America as exchange students. It was simple and short, realistic. Shorter the lies are, less to explain.

He leaned against his fist as he drove seeing kuro starting to fall back after his little rebel race.

For how much they messed up the world, some how he preferred it this way... there was no society to push people into a mindset they'll hate themselves in, no 40 or more hour weeks that made him feel like he was suffocating in. Yes the world is fucked and broken and a mess, but in this chaos he finally felt free somehow.

It was awful to think. He couldn't ever think that way out loud, these people that were kind enough to take them in, they probably had good lives and good families, he had no one, they lost everyone.

At least he wasn't the only one alone now.

How stupidly selfish was he? A horrible person, he knew that, he's never going to deny it.

Lotor inhaled deeply as he gripped tightly on the steering wheel and drove ahead as kuro fell back behind him and Lotor sped up to keep a like formed.

This is how it is. It was quiet at least.
