Hunk wrapped the boys arm with a gauze pressed tightly against the wound. He noticed the boys breathing pick up for a few seconds, thinking he was going to wake up but it evened out. Must be in pain when he was wrapping. Hunk sighed adjusting his headband as he got up from sitting on the edge of the bed.
Only to hear a gun click behind him.
Hunk turned around wide eyes seeing the boy awake with a gun aimed at him, that was his gun... His blue eyes glaring darkly at him.
"Guys!" Hunk screamed out of shock at the boy scooted back against the wall with the gun in one hand.
"Let me out, now," the boy barked harshly.
"Dude your going to pass out again, you need to take it easy-" "I said let me go!" He yelled making hunk jump a little afraid.
"You lost to much blood man..." hunks hands shook a little.
"Because you shot me!"
"I didn't shoot you!" Hunk cried out keeping his hands up.
"What happened?" Lotor ran in first and opened the cell as hunk backed out immediately.
"Let me go," the boy pointed the gun at the new face.
"Hey hey we're not keeping you here, we just didn't want to leave you behind," Lotor walked in with his hands up.
"Where am I then?" He asked clenching his jaw tightly.
"At the police station, we've just taken shelter here, it's about twenty minutes from before, just put the gun down, I'll help answer any questions you have," Lotor told him softly as he took a step forward.
"Can I ask your name?" He offered.
"Lance," the boy gulped but didn't lower the gun.
"Nice to meet you again lance, I'm Lotor," he smiled gently trying to seem less threatening.
"Your going to let me go right? I can't stay I have to go," Lances eyes weld up with tears again.
Lotor used the sign of weakness to grab the boys wrist and pull the guns barrel up to avoid getting shot and yanked the gun out of his hands. Lance cried out as Lotor pressed his hand against his chest to pin him back and keep the gun out of reach.
"Just had to get that out of the way love," Lotor sighed standing up and unloaded the gun as lance shook in the bed as he scooted into the wall holding his arm.
"Yes we'll let you go, you're not a hostage," he nodded putting the gun behind his back to hand back to hunk.
"Just till we know you won't bring your group back here and or are a threat, but also to make sure your steady enough to walk without passing out," Lotor explained calmly as lance looked down fearful.
"When? I need to go back now," lance whispered closing his eyes.
"With the amount of blood lost maybe a few days, if it's that big a deal I'll drop you off close to your own camp," Lotor crossed his arms.
"Days?! No I have to go tonight!" Lance gasped and tried to get up but fell dizzy as he almost collapsed again. Lotor caught the boy and helped him steady.
"You're in no condition," Lotor grunted.
"Listen assholes I need to go," lance snarled tried to push away but Lotor let go and closed the cells door to lock him.
"You'll die if you go now, don't be stupid," Lotor growled as lance grabbed the bars.
"No no no please I have to go tonight!" Lance hit the bars making Lotor back up.
"They'll leave me behind! They won't stay! I have to find them! I have to make sure he got the medicine!" Lance started to scream as he held on the bars.
"Silvio right? Is that who?" Hunk walked over concerned.
"How-" "you called me silvio earlier," hunk smiled sadly at the boy who must've been around his age. Lance nodded as a few tears ran down his face.
"My nephew and my niece, they're kids, I'm all they have, my nephew is sick and he needs me and my niece is alone, I-I have to go back," lance covered his mouth trying to get their sympathy.
"I said before your not a hostage, you aren't, I promise you'll see them, but at this rate you'll die lance," Lotor tried explaining again. He probably opened his wounds again.
"Now sit down," he grit out. Lance glared back but went and sat on the bed. His knuckles were white from gripping the metal tightly. He bowed his head down hiccuping a few sobs.
Lotor pursed his lips in pity, if it was true that two children were relying on him for their survival then there had to be some way they could help.
"Hunk, let's go," Lotor sighed putting his long hair out of the low pony tail and put it in a bun instead.
Lance covered his mouth trying to silence his cries. But as soon as the two left he looked up wiping his tears with a sharp sigh in annoyance. He pushed his hair back looking around to find an escape.
"Damn," he hissed holding his side. The sob story should buy him time and their empathy, but he had to plan for the worst.
There was a hoodie that was extra large on the ground with blood splattered on the front. Must've been that hunk guys left behind when they were bandaging him up. Lance grabbed the hoodie to cover his bare chest and ignored the pain from the fresh bullet wounds.
He grabbed the knife from his boot and started trying to unlock the cell door.
"Wow your a bit sick and twisted too aint ya?" A dark voice chuckled. Lance gasped seeing the man that attacked him.
"Says the fucking animal," lance glared over seeing he was locked up as well.
"You aren't innocent are you?" Kuron got up and went to the edge of his cell to watch lance pick the lock.
"I didn't do anything to you or your friends," lance mumbled.
"Was your pity party story real?" Kuron asked amused now.
"Yes,"
"What's the kids names?" He smiled smugly.
"Nadia and Silvio," lance answered as he listened to the lock with his knife in it.
"Ages?"
"Nine and five, my brothers kids," lance sighed trying a different position.
"Where's your brother? I thought 'you're all they have'," Kuron mocked lances cry.
"I killed him when he turned into a biter, first day world went to hell," lance rolled his eyes.
"Damn, your a little to honest," Kuron snorted but heard the lock click and the door open.
"I'm an honest man, but that doesn't matter since your never going to see me again, asshole," lance smiled flipping Kuron off as he walked past his cell to the back door that was blocked off. Moving the crates to slip through.
