Chapter 1

Hi. My name is Kianna Carter..I'm 15 and I attend Sierra Canyon Highschool. I play basketball but i haven't yet tried out for the girls team. Hopefully it'll change this year.

Today is my first day as a Sophomore. I'm super excited ngl.
And maybe this time my crush will notice me. I've been crushing on Bronny James for like 2 years now. He's so fine..like gah dayummmm!!

"Kianna get yo ass down here...your gonna be late for school." My mom shouted from downstairs snapping me out of my thoughts.

"I'm coming ma" i say while running down the stairs.
" i hope your ready to be a Sophomore honey" my mom said enthusiastically.
" i am..i think I'm gonna try out for the girls basketball team this year." i tell my mom.
"girllll finally..you should try out and see where it takes you. You're really good..i won't be surprised if you wound up in the WNBA" my mom tells me.
" thanks ma.."

*time skip to the car ride to school*

"WASSUP GIRLLLLLLLLLLLL" my crazy ass bestie yells while entering my car.
"girl yo ass ain't need to yell like you tryna talk to the whole neighborhood."
"sorry not sorry" she replies.

Tamia has been my bestfriend for 6 years.
We attended middle school together and now were attending high school together.
I'm so lucky to have her big head by my side.

"Soo i hope you ready for Bronny to finally notice you bishhhh" Tamia says..
"really Mia..if he didn't notice me last year why would he notice me now.."
"ion know...maybe you should actually try and talk to him"
"girl you funny." i said while laughing.
Tamia gives me a stank face and says "i know I'm funny but you really need to talk to him yk."
"ugh fine imma talk to him. maybe" Tamia rolls her eyes when i added the maybe part.
"ion care whether you like it or not yo ass gon talk to Bronny aight"
i just rolled my eyes and continued driving.
