Unveiling Fourteen

Nang makarating sa kastilyo ay sinalubong sila ni Achates na nasa bukana nito.

"I have been wandering around since it's been 2 hours when the training ended. Anong nangyari?" He asked Amara at sinabayan ito sa paglalakad.

"Something came up. One of the humans crossed the hyenas' border."

"Wait. I didn't crossed it in purpose. Hindi ko nga alam na sa kanila 'yon." Paghabol ni Kaiden kina Amara at Achates dahil nasa likuran sila. Amara stopped and took a deep breath before looking at him. "I don't remember asking for your side."

"N-Nag eexplain lang ako." Nauutal na sagot niya. Amara just rolled her eyes at her and continued walking na sinundan naman ng mga ito. "Prince Achates, if you don't mind, please lead them to the chambers."

"I don't mind." Achates replied with a smile. He then gestured to the three to follow him so they did.

Tahimik lang nilang pinagmamasdan ang mga nasa pasilyo nang lungunin sila ni Achates. "Siguro ay alam niyo na natalo kayo sa pagsasanay. The Princesses told us about the consequence. Tomorrow, you will spectate the other teams so you have to take a rest." He said and open the door for them. Sven and Kaiden entered the room first and when Rainer was about to enter, Achates stopped him. "Princess Azrail wants to see you." He said and turned his back at him kaya sinundan na lang siya nito.

Umakyat sila sa ikatlong palapag kung nasaan ang mga silid ng mga prinsesa.
After a minute or so of walking, tumigil sila sa isang pinto na nasa dulo ng pasilyo. Achates knocked three times and Azrail opened it.

"Come in." She said while looking at Rainer. Nag aalangan si Rainer na tinignan si Azrail ngunit pumasok pa rin ito. Sinundan naman siya ng tingin ni Azrail at akmang susundan na nang hawakan siya sa braso ni Achates. Azrail looked at him, waiting for him to say something ngunit hindi ito umimik. Sinalubong lang ni Achates ang tingin ni Azrail hanggang sa bumigay ito.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"Can I stay?" Pagsusumamo ni Achates na ikina sandal ni Azrail sa may pintuan habang naka kuros ang mga braso. "I will just talk to him."

"Okay, so? Hindi ko ba pwedeng marinig kung anong paguusapan ninyo?"

"It's not like that. But I don't think he'll be comfortable if you're around."

"He shouldn't be. Hindi sila pwedeng maging komportable dito, Azrail. It's dangerous for them to stay here."

"I know, I know. Just leave this to me, okay?" She said while caressing Achates' face. He just then sigh before slowly nodding. Ngumiti ng tipid si Azrail bago siya halikan ni Achates habang hawak ang mukha nito.

"Goodnight, My Princess." He said after kissing her. Azrail just not at him and said, "You too."

"I'll go now."

Nang mawala na si Achates sa panginin ni Azrail ay pumasok na ito. Rainer was just standing behind her with her hands on his pockets.

"Lovers?" He asked with a mischievous smile on his lips.

"None of your business." She said before passing by him. "Pinatawag kita dahil may ipapagawa ako sa'yo."

"What is it?"

"Leave."

"Wait, what?" Takang tanong niya kay Azrail na nasa balkunahe habang hinahaplos ang kanyang uwak.
