it was the afternoon and the pogues had made dens, they had gotten bamboo sticks and massive leaves and had built walls and a roof to sleep in, they were quite small though they could fit 2 people in so they had made three of them, nobody knew the sleeping arrangements yet so no one thought much of it.

later that day sarah had dragged kiara into one of the dens to talk, 'sooo whats up with you and jj?' kiara went red, 'nothing' she replied, sarah sighed and rolled her eyes, 'ok so ignore that question, do you like jj?' she asked with a smile, kiara didn't say anything, 'you do dont you!' sarah said excitedly and really loud, 'sarah shut up' kiara said covering her mouth, 'no sarah i need your help because i dont know how i feel' sarah calmed down, 'ok explain it to me' she said kiara stayed quiet, 'oh come on kie you can tell me anything' she said, she sighed 'ok, well when im around him i get this weird feeling in my stomach, and when he teases me or calls me nicknames i just' she sighed, 'kie you literally have a massive crush on the boy, why you acting sad' she asked a bit confused, 'oh come on sarah its jj hes a player and we all know it, i just dont know if i could trust him and also he probably doesn't even like me back' she looked at the floor, 'ok no jj is all over you at the minute he defiantly likes you back and i know hes a player but your different he knows if he fucks things up with you then hes lost you forever and you know he dont want that your literally his best friend.... dont doubt your feelings' she looked at her and smiled, 'im not doubting them, im just not acting on them' she let out a sad smile and walked out of the den, sarah sighed and walked out as well.

later that day john B and sarah had gone to find food and pope was with cleo tryna make a fire again, it was still a bit light out so kiara decided to go for a swim, jj just sat ashore and watched her as she floated, when all of a sudden he heard a scream, and the sea around her turned red, 'kiara!' he shouted, within seconds he was shirtless and in the water tryna get kie, 'jj!' she shouted, 'i got you kie i got you' he said as he approached her and swam to shore with her, when they got to shore he layed her body on the sand bank and examined her tryna find out what was wrong, it was her arm, she had been bitten by a shark, 'oh my god kie uhhmm' he was panicking, he grabbed his shirt of the floor and wrapped it around her arm, slowly her eyes started to droop shut, 'no, no stay with me kie come on wake up' he said lightly shaking her, he then picked her up in his arms and started shouting, 'HELP! POPE GET THE OTHERS KIARA BEEN BIT BY A SHARK' he layed her back down when he saw all the others rushing towards them, pope and cleo were first and then john B and sarah pushed through, jj just sat there holding her hand and hoping for the best, 'w-what do we do?' he asked, sarah was prepared for this, she knew there was a first aid kit on the life boat they had brought because she put it there when she tried to escape because of her dad, she ran back to get it from the boat, she ripped it open and grabbed the stitches and bandaged out from it, 'ok everyone move! im gonna stitch her, jj stay there and keep her steady because its gonna hurt and we have no pain killers' she shouted, 'ok' he kept hold of her and looked her in her eyes and smiled, 'wait sarah are you sure you know what your doing' he asked, she looked at him, 'not entirely' she admitted, jjs eyes went wide, 'no no you cant do this then you could make this worse sarah' he shouted putting his arm in front of her to stop her, 'jj stop, i know this is scary ok and i know you care for her so please if you care as much as i think you do let me do this, its the only shot we have, if we leave it to late she'll die from blood loss ok' sarah said tryna calm him, he sighed and let go leaning back to where he was before, john B came and sat next to him holding his shoulder, 'she'll be alright man' JB said jj nodded and went back to kiara.
