"Hangs it's 3 in the morning! Go to bed!" I groaned walking past her office. She was hunched over her desk looking through a bunch of titan files. Her glasses sat on the bridge of her nose as her eyes skimmed over the pages. "My dear y/n come in! I wanna tell about our progress on Eren's abilities!"
I turned on my heel making a break for her door, i was too slow and Hange yanked me back into a chair. "Can't you just tell me in the morning!" I cried regretting coming here, this happened every time and i would get yelled at by Levi. "You're already here!"
I sighed giving in, it's not like if i tried I'd even get out of this. She pulled her chair in front of mine, laying the pages across the table. "His power as of the moment, has it's limits. He can transform about 5 times a day, but with training, we're hoping to double it in the future."
"Hange when was the last you went to sleep," I asked noticing the large dark bags under her eyes. On rare occasions i'd find her asleep on her desk and carry her back, other than that i don't thinks she actually slept in her own bed. "I'm fine! Now i must tell about-"
"Hange look at me." I slid my hand on her cheek looking her over. The bags under her eyes were huge, she froze turning her eyes towards me. Her cheeks turned a crimson pink. "You need rest." I mumbled lightly giving her an encouraging smile.
"My dear science never rests!" She jumped up walking around the table, picking up a test tube which contained a dark red sample. "Is that blood," I asked gagging, blood wasn't exactly my thing even though i see it almost everyday. "Yes it's Eren's! Come look!"
She placed a tiny pinch onto a piece of glass. I walked over taking a glance because i was kinda curious. On the blood cells i noticed what looked like blue spots. "What is that," I gasped zooming it in taking a closer look. On the blue particles, looked like bugs.
"We believe the blue particles is what makes Eren's body regenerate! I'm trying to see if i can find a way to take Eren's blood and us it on wounded solders to see if they can regenerate as well!" That was pretty clever but thinking about it more it would take a lot of blood from Eren.
"What are you guys still doing up," Oh dear god no.
"Levi come in!" Hange cheered pushing the blood sample away running to the door way. He stared me down like he wanted to break my arms and legs. "I sent y/n to take you to bed, but it seems to me that she's not capable of handling something so simple."
Hange turned to me and her smile flattened. "That's why you came here?" I nodded playing with my hands, it was a nervous habit of mine. "I'm sorry it's not her fault, I wasn't listening to her." Levi scoffed.
"Well in that case both of you, bed, now." Not even giving him a chance to say anything else, me and Hange both bolted for the door. We walked down the lobby to our rooms, which both so happened to be across from each other.
"Goodnight y/n. I'm sorry for getting you in trouble." Hange smiled with a light yawn. "It's okay, goodnight Hange. Get some sleep okay?"
With a nod she walked into her room, shutting the door. I twisted the doorknob to my room, sighing happily when my bed came in view. Oh how i missed you. I slipped off my shoes climbing into bed with a yawn. I pulled the cover up to my chin, enjoying the warmth of my blankets. I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
