The first thing you noticed walking into the meeting was Jeon Wonwoo. You had never officially met the man though, you can't say you've heard good things.
He was looking at you like last night's dishwater. Like you had recently made his life a whole lot harder.
"Well, well," he spoke, hardly hiding his contempt. "If it isn't Ms. Choi."
You froze.
His words came out low and hot, seething their way out of his mouth. They crept up your spine and made you shiver.
You knew you had no reason to be afraid, recalling your very first night in Seoul, the way your newfound friends spoke about him and his sister.
But, you now understood why so many people were afraid of him. The way he spoke was haunting, terrifying even.
And the way he looked at you, with fiery disdain in his eyes.
You couldn't look away, if you did something bad was going to happen.
"Chill out, Jeon," Hoseok walked past you. He grabbed your arm and began pulling you along with him, forcing you to look away from Wonwoo.
Something bad is going to happen.
You finally took a look around the room. The space was very big, it was exactly like the convention halls at hotels. Large enough to fit the numerous people already sitting in the circle of chairs with Wonwoo. Some people you already knew, others not so much. It was another one of the many rooms in the basement's basement.
You were in Pluto.
Wonpil, Chanyeol, Jimin, Chungha, and Bobby were there, all tiredly throwing halfhearted smiles at you and you walked past them. Wonwoo's sister Somin was there too, sitting right next to her brother on her throne. You had vague memories of some of the other people, others you had never seen.
"'Chill out'?" Wonwoo scoffed rolling his eyes. He seemed less angry and more amused.
"'Chill out'?" he roared.
Now he was angry.
"Your roommate lies to you about her identity as the fucking daughter of the head dealer of the Daegu Family and you want me to calm down?"
"Yeah," Hoseok spoke in a 'duh' tone. "It's too early for you to be screaming about Y/N. She did nothing wrong."
Wonwoo huffed and rolled his eyes, crossing his arms.
"'She did nothing wrong' my ass," he spoke under his breath. "I mean it's not like she's the reason we're all in the mess right now."
"Can you shut the fuck up Jeon?" Yeonjun spoke up, tired of hearing the man speaking badly of you. "She didn't fucking sign up for this shit."
Hoseok sat down next to a soundly sleeping woman and pulled you into the seat next to him, Yeonjun sat next to you. The rest of your little crew sat in the same row as you, all next to each other. The first-timers were like you on your first night; confused, impressed, curious.
However, you don't remember feeling as scared as they all looked.
You had never seen Mingyu look this terrified. He wasn't known to have any fears, nothing could faze him. After all, Mingyu was tall, strong, handsome beyond fucking belief. What did he have to be afraid of?
And yet, despite his reputation, here he was shaking and sweating at the thought of being sent home. Damn near crying at the mere idea of having to go back to Daegu. The lack of sleep probably didn't help.
