"We'll keep falling on each other
To fill the empty spaces"When you were younger, maybe nine or ten, you used to help your dad weigh and separate weed for low-level deals. A typical job for the drug dealer's daughter. You learned how to properly calibrate a scale, how to package and seal, the difference between Indica and Sativa, etc. He had you take Seungcheol's place once he started his formal training within the Family.
He only let you help in the house, never letting you near the warehouse where all the big stuff was. You had never even met his best friend and business partner, Mr. Min. You had heard stories about him from Seungcheol, about how he and your father had known each other since they were teenagers and how they trained to become the head dealers.
Whenever Mr. Min would come to your house for business, you were always told to stay in your part of the house with Beomgyu and one of your father's bodyguards. Only Seungcheol was allowed to attend these meetings.
Every meeting you would sit by your window and watch your father and brother greet Mr. Min and his son, Yoongi.
You remembered the first time you saw Min Yoongi. He looked to be around your brother's age. He stayed behind Mr. Min the same way Seungcheol stayed behind your father. He gave the energy that he didn't want to be there.
As time passed, Seungcheol would become more excited to go to meetings. You watched him come out from behind your father and happily greet Yoongi. Yoongi always seemed equally happy to be with your brother.
You had never seen your brother smile as wide as he did when he was with Yoongi.
You watched him enter and leave your home many times before you actually met him.
You were 15 at the time of your first official meeting, he was 19. You met in passing while at the warehouse. He had just come back from being gone for three years and wanted to see Seungcheol. You didn't think anything of it. You never really saw much of him afterward.
At the time, teenage you was developing a crush on a young man named Seo Youngho.
Unfortunately for you, 18 year old you would lose Youngho and your guys' friend, Woosung.
After the death of your boyfriend, you began only working with your father. You spent a lot of time in the warehouse with him and Beomgyu.
And Yoongi.
You didn't really talk to him at first, you stayed to yourself. You couldn't bring yourself to let anyone else into your life for a while. He and your brother didn't talk anymore. You never asked why.
But, after countless hours alone together, hardly speaking to each other, the two of you began to grow more comfortable around each other.
You began to pick up on little things about each other, subconsciously learning the other's favorite things, sense of humor, and fears.
