"Y/N we need to talk," Hoseok spoke, breaking the staring contest between the reunited.

Neither party had been able to move since the four walked into your cousin's apartment.

You had tears in your eyes staring at the three.

You broke your gaze away from your three friends from home and looked at your roommate.

Hoseok looked just about ready to fall to his knees and cry. Whatever Seokmin, Chaeyoung, and Mingyu had gone through, Hoseok got it worse. He presented himself as about three inches shorter than the last time you saw him. All the confidence he had carried himself with had deteriorated into a pale greasy blob.

"Hoseok you should slee-" you began, stepping towards your roommate.

"No we need to talk first," he held his hand up and cut you off. "I'm not doing anything until we talk."

You looked over at the other three arrivals.

"Unnie, I think you should go talk to him," Chaeyoung spoke meekly.

For a short amount of time in your teen years, you were a mentor to younger girls in the gang.

Son Chaeyoung your first student.

Her mother was a transfer from Seoul that worked directly under your father. Mrs. Son was a doctor and had several connections that gave her access to large supplies of medical drugs.

You taught Chaeyoung how to defend herself, how to hide out in the shadows, how to get away with deals, how to jump fences and every other necessary skill need to survive as a woman in Daegu. She was like the sister you never had. The two of you became partners during deals and held the record for the most successful deals completed as a pair.

Never did you think that you would be with her in her hometown.

You looked at the women, realizing the change that three months can bring.

Her hair was short and blonde. Most likely in an attempt to remain unrecognized by the gang. She was dirty and visibly tired along with the others who walked through the door, but nothing a shower and sleep could fix.

"Yeah, I think so too," Mingyu agreed with the younger woman. "We'll stay here with Yeonjun and Chan."

"Yo Hobi Hyung," a voice forgotten by you piped. "I thought we were doing this tomorrow."

The room's attention shifted over to the tall man in pajamas.

Namjoon was beyond confused by the situation playing out in front of him, suddenly wishing that he had just put his headphones on and blasted music instead of making the trip to his neighbor's apartment.

"Change of plans Joon," he looked at his friend. "Stay here with them please... go tell Soonyoung to pull out and bring him here first."

"Woah Woah Woah," Chan finally chimed in. "We can't have seven people staying here Hobi."
