Ch.1 Frustations

"Can I help you sir?" I asked the man as he waited in line.

"Oh! Um, yeah, I'll have the, um, number 3- No!
n-number 7- No! Wait, what was that one..." He stuttered while placing his hand on his chin in thought.

Five minutes go by and the man still didn't decide on what to get. I started getting impatient and a line had started forming. I rolled my eyes and started tapping my fingers, hoping that he would get the gist. Nothing.

"Look, if your not going to order anything, then get out," I snapped rather harshly. Hurt filled the mans eyes. "Fine. I'll go order somewhere else!" The man snapped back as he rushed out of the store. "Wait! Sir!" I sighed.

I finished tending to the other customers when a voice called out to me. "You know, you shouldn't yell at customers like that," I rolled my eyes at my sister. "I know, but you saw him! He took like ten minuets just to figure out what he wanted!" I complained. She just rolled her eyes.

"Whatever. Anyways, I picked up your schoolwork, and your not gonna be happy," she said while fixing her twin light blonde braids. "Why?" I asked as I opened a letter that was with the packet.

We are sorry to inform you that you will be required to take (an) extra class(es) of your liking in order to graduate this year at Yoshida High due to frequent absences. The class(es) are required to be at least three credits and you must pass with a 78% or higher.

I groaned in frustration. I mean it's not my fault I have a strict boss who yells at me all the time for the smallest things! "Sam!" Speak of the devil. "How many times do I have to tell you? WE DON'T YELL AT CUSTOMERS!!!" He screamed in my face. "I'm sorry, Sir. It won't happen again," I mumbled. "Your darn right it won't happen again, because YOU'RE FIRED!!"

'YOU'RE FIRED!' It kept ringing in my head for what felt like hours. Fired? I can't be fired! I have to pay the bills and rent and for Liv's tuition for collage! "Mr. Herding! Please! Give me another chance!" I pleaded desperately.

"I already gave you five!" He shouted. I huffed, took off my apron and threw it at him."Fine! Good luck finding someone better!" I yelled as it started pouring down rain. "This day just keeps getting better and better." I mumbled as Liv and I ran to my motor scooter. I gave her my purple helmet and started the engine.

Once we had gotten home, Liv and I were drenched from head to toe.

I knocked on the door furiously. I heard a faint "I got it!" as Hannah opened the door. "Who is it?" Caleb yelled. "It's just Sam and Liv!" Hannah yelled back. "Well, are you gonna let us in?" I asked still standing in the rain. "Oh yeah," she said as she moved out of the way.

As soon as the door closed, Liv and I started stripping out of our wet clothes (A/N They kept their underwear on Pervs ). We trudged up the stairs and changed into warm sweats. We walked down stairs and Liv went into the kitchen. Figures. She was always hungry. I walked into the living room and saw Caleb sitting on the couch listening to the T.V.

It was sad. Caleb was born blind. He would never get to see the wonders of the world but he was also lucky because he didn't have to see the horrors either. Instead of sight, he got the ability to use echolocation. He made clicks with his tongue and he could tell where objects were.

"Hey, Samie," he greeted with a wave of his hand in my general direction. "How many times do I have to tell you not to call me that?" I asked in a joking voice. "As many times as you want, I'm still gonna do it," he said in the same tone. I laughed and shook my head. "So, what are you watching?" I asked. "Oh, just The Walking Dead," he said. My eyes immediately fixed on the screen. "No way! I love that show!"

"Yeah, I'm at the part where Lori dies," All of a sudden, Hannah walked in. "I laughed at that part," she said with a smile on her face. "She got what she deserved." I looked at her like she was inshane (A/N lol see what I did there?). "No matter what anybody does, Nobody deserves that," I say with sadness lacing my voice as I remember my own mother.

My mother had died when she gave birth to Liv. I was just a baby at the time so I don't remember everything but I still hear the crying of my father and the weeping of all my family members. "It's dinner time!" I heard Molly yell. We all rushed into the kitchen to see Liv already digging in. I rolled my eyes at her and silently gave thanks for my food.

After we were done, I got in the shower. Once that was out of the way, I changed into my pajamas and started French braiding my hair as I saw Liv taking hers out. Her blonde hair fell into gentle, soft, waves. I crawled into my twin sized bed as Liv crawled into hers.

"Goodnight, Liv."

"Goodnight, Sam."
