Now back to the story!

I sighed softly as I lay awake in my bed.

I turned my head to the door as Liv ran through it for the third time tonight. I quietly got up and followed her to the bathroom. She was huddled over the toilet as she spilled out the contents of her stomach. "Are you okay?" I asked quietly. She nodded. "I-I think it's just a stomach bug. I'm sure it will pass," she muttered as she leaned over the seat again.

I quickly (not so much quietly) walked to the kitchen and got a large plastic bowl. I walked back to the bathroom. I gave Liv the bowl and helped her back into bed. I tucked her in and gave her a kiss on her forehead. "Goodnight, Liv," I mumbled to her already fast asleep figure as I crawled back into my own bed.

"Oh Em Gee!! They're here!!!" Kalyn screeched as she excitedly ran out of our room.

"What's here?" Molly asked as she jumped off of her bed. "Whatever it is, it better be good," Hannah grumbled as they walked out with Nya. I groaned and stretched my back before turning to Liv. "Hey, do you feel good enough to come downstairs with me?" I asked her in a whisper voice. She groaned and rolled over. "I'm taking that as a no," I mumbled as I walked downstairs into the kitchen.

Sensei Wu was handing out our ninja Gi's. He handed Kalyn her's first as she was excitedly jumping up and down. "Kalyn, Ninja of Nature," Kalyn squealed happily. I sighed and held my head painfully. I had a killer migraine and her obnoxious squealing was not helping. "Hey, You okay?" Cole asked as he put a hand on my shoulder. "Yeah, I just have a migraine. Its gonna be the death of me," I grumbled. "I think we have some Ibuprofen in the infirmary. I'll check after you guys get your Gi's," he told me. "Thanks, I appreciate that," I told him as I heard my name being called.

"Sam, Ninja of Storms," Sensei called as he handed me a beautiful dark purple ninja Gi. It had a silver dragon on it with raindrops and lightning shooting out of its mouth. "That sure fits her personality," Jay grumbled. I punched him on the shoulder while still admiring my Gi. "Ow!" He squealed like the little baby he is.

"Hey, uh, where's Liv?" Jay asked after Sensei had handed all of us our Gi's. Everyone looked at me expectantly. "She's still in bed. She has a stomach bug," I answered honestly. Jay rushed up to our room. "I-I'll go look for that Ibuprofen now," Cole told me as he started walking towards the infirmary. Hannah and Zane walked into the kitchen either to make breakfast, make-out, or a little of both. Sensei went back into his room, Kalyn rushed into our room to Bedazzle her Gi, and Caleb and Nya went into the main room. That leaves Kai and me alone.

"Sam, I wanna say sorry for what I said. I wasn't listening to what I was saying because I was in my 'Gaming Zone'. Can you forgive me?" He asked with pleading eyes. "I think that can be arranged. But I'm warning you now, Hotshot, You ever say anything like that again, I will personally cut out your tongue and have Cole serve it for dinner," I threatened. Kai slowly started backing away from me.

"Woah! Watch it!" Cole yelled as Kai bumped into him. "Here, I got the Ibuprofen," Cole said as he handed me the two white pills and a glass of water. "Thanks," I said as I downed the pills and started walking back to my room. "Where are you going?" Cole asked. "Oh, to see if Liv's okay. Remember, she has a stomach bug," I told them as I continued there.

When I walked in there, Jay was holding her hand, rubbing soothing circles into it. "You feeling any better?" I asked Liv. Liv shook her head before rolling on her side and throwing up into the bowl, again. Jay was rubbing comforting circles in her back. After she was done, I handed her my glass of water. She quickly gulped it down. "That helps. Hey, does anyone have anything to eat? I'm starving." I rolled my eyes. "Of course you are. Come on, Hannah and Zane are 'cooking breakfast'," I told her as Jay and I helped her out of bed.

I sipped my glass of milk after I was done with my food.

"Shoot, I gotta get ready for school!" I announced before jumping out of my seat. "Bye," "See ya!" "Have a nice day!" Everyone tells me. "Wait, Samantha. I think it would do us all good if everyone went to your school," Sensei Wu announced. "What!?" The guys yelled. "But Sensei! We don't need to go to school! We're smart!" Jay yelled. "Oh really? What's 9+10?" Cole asked. "21!" Jay yells back. "You stupid!" Kai yelled. "It is decided then. The ninja are going to High School," Sensei said as the guys groaned.

After we were all ready, we stood outside waiting for the bus.

Apparently, dragons weren't appropriate for high school. Jay stood there messing with his hoodie strings. "Uh! This is stupid! Why do we even have to go to this stupid school!" He yelled frustratedly. I smirked. "You know my pain," I told him as the bus rolled to a stop. Fred, the bus driver, opened the door.

"Hey, Sam. Where have you been?" he said as I walked up the stairs. "Oh, sorry about that. Liv, and I moved," I apologized." Oh, ok. Where is Liv anyways?" He asked. "Oh, she has a bug," I answered as I found a seat.

It was lunch time before I saw the guys again.

"Oh my gosh! I have like 6 pages of home work! And it's only halfway through the day!" Jay whined. "Suck it up! Sensei wanted us to do this because he thought we weren't smart eno-" Kai started. "Sam?" A girl asked. She had platinum blonde hair on top, dark brown hair underneath, and had deep blue eyes. "Oh! Hey Nadine! How are you?" I asked in a fake cheery tone.

Nadine was a weird girl. No, the weird girl out of the whole school. "Oh, um, I'm good thanks for asking! So, who are these guys?" She asked while staring a little longer at Kai, who looked uncomfortable. "Oh, well, you already know Hannah, Molly, Caleb, and Kalyn. This is Cole, Zane, Jay, Nya, and Kai," I introduced. "Cool!" She said while plopping in between Kai and Zane. "So, I heard you guys moved, how's that working for ya?" She asked pronouncing the 'ya'. "I-It's good," I told her leaving out the stressful parts.

She asked me about how I could deal with being fired, and moving at the same time. News travels fast around here. But, nevertheless, I told her. At some point, she had managed to lay her head on Kai's shoulder. He tried shrugging her off but she was stuck there like glue.

After lunch was over, I figured out one of the extra classes I have to take is Dance and... I have it with Cole. I don't know if it's a good thing or bad yet, but we were partnered up as the 'Newbies'. We have to do a planned dance in front of everyone. The only problem is, I can't dance But, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

Once we got home, Jay passed out on the couch.

I rolled my eyes at him and carried my book bag up to the Girls' Room. Once I walked in there, I saw Liv sitting on my bed holding something. As soon as she saw me, she quickly stood up. "Hey, I grabbed your missing work for you," I told her as I transferred the work to her book bag. "Oh, thanks," she said rather distant. "Liv, what's wrong?" I asked her. She gulped loudly. "Um, Sam. I'm not sick." I looked at her confused. "What? What are you trying to say?" I asked her. She held up the thing she was holding.

"I'm pregnant."
