Going On A Date

Today Jungkook and I are going to the fair in town today for our date. We have the day off from work so we can spend the whole day there. We decided to go to a coffee shop beforehand. As we are waiting in line Jungkook back hugs me. I love it but at the same time it's embarrassing in front of people. I've never had a boyfriend so this is new to me. I turn my head to look up at him with a blush on my face.

"W-what are you doing?"

"I can't hug my mate?" He smirks at me. I turn back around to the front.

"You can..." I whispered. We get our coffee and head our way to the fair. Once we entered, it reminded me exactly of the one I used to go to as a kid. It had so many rides and games.

"Jungkook! They have the ride Tilt A Whirl here, let's go!" I pull Jungkook over to the ride and we wait in line.

"Is this your favorite ride?" Jungkook asks me.

"Yep! Jess and I would get off only to wait in line again to go on it. Do you have a favorite fair ride?"

"Mine is the Gravitron."

"I bet you were one of those boys who would turn upside down." He laughs at my comment.

"I was, Namjoon and I got yelled at for doing it all the time. One year they even stopped us from going on the ride because we didn't listen."

"I didn't know that you were friends with Namjoon for that long."

"Oh yeah we- oh we're about to go on the ride, I'll tell you about Namjoon and I later." After that ride we went on it again and a few other rides. We got off Gravitron and I turned to him.

"Let's go on Tilt A Whirl again!" I was about to run towards it when he grabs my hand to stop me and laughs.

"Hold on, let's eat something first before we go on more rides." I don't look up at him and pouted.

"Fine..."

"Cute." He kisses my cheek, grabs my hand and brings us over to the food stands. Once we get our food we go and sit on a picnic table. We start eating and then I remember he didn't finish telling me how he and Namjoon became friends.

"Jungkook, you forgot to tell me about how you and Namjoon are so close."

"Oh you're right I completely forgot. Namjoon is an only child and they wanted a hybrid to keep him company. So his parents bought me when he was thirteen. I lived in a hybrid center my whole childhood life until I was ten when they bought me. Namjoon and I became best friends instantly. I considered him and his parents as my family. His parents treated me like I was their son. It was nice for a change. I was shy when I lived at the center so I didn't have anyone I was close with except for the care takers."

"What about- never mind." I was going to ask about his parents but that's probably not a good topic to bring up.

"What we're you going to say?"

"I- umm... What about your parents?"

"Oh, my mother was a stray and got pregnant with me during one of her heats. She found the hybrid center and we lived there together. She died when I was five. I don't have that much memories of her but I have a few. The caretakers always told me stories of how nice and kind my mother was." He shows me a sad smile and I immediately hug him.

"I'm so sorry that happened to you." We break out of the hug and he gives me his bunny smile.

"Don't feel bad I'm just glad I got to spend some time with my mother. I would also have never met Namjoon and his family." He stands up and takes my hand. "Let's keep looking around the fair." As we are looking at all of the booths a band starts to play. Jungkook turns to me all excited.
