The Past

I follow Yoongi outside to the backyard. We sit down on one of the outdoor couches they had on their deck. Neither of us start the conversation and I keep messing around with my hands. I can't keep the silence but decided not to make eye contact with him.

"What... what happened when they took you away?" When he explained our story to the group he stopped when they took him away in the car.

"Y/n... I think it's best if I don't-"

"I don't care I want to know." I understand why he doesn't want to tell me. He knows that telling me will just make me feel worse about what happened. But I have to know, it's been bothering me for years. He sighs knowing that I'm not going to back down.

"Ok... When they took me away I was forced into a cage in the car. I was going to try to find my way back to you but I couldn't see out the window to figure out where I was going. It felt like hours when they finally stopped. They pulled me out of the cage and threw me on the ground. I shifted to my human form to try to fight back but your mom already had a hold on me. Your dad started kicking me saying how I was a filthy hybrid. Someone overheard all the noise and yelled at them to stop. They let me go and drove away in their car. The person who yelled at them immediately ran over to me, it was Seokjin." I tried so hard not to cry because I knew he didn't want to tell me because I was going to blame myself but I can't help it and the tears came down anyways.

"Yoongi... I'm so sorry, I felt so worthless when I couldn't stop them I-"

"Shhhh..." He immediately shuts me up and hugs me. "This is why I didn't want to tell you. There was nothing you could have done. And I ended up meeting Seokjin and the rest of them. I consider them my family now."

"That's great Yoongi..." It makes me happy knowing that he's happy but...

"Y/n... That doesn't change how much you mean to me. I could never forget about you, are you kidding me." He unclips something from his jeans and shows me. "Look." I can't believe it... It was his collar he wore when he was in his cat form.

"I can't believe you still have it."

"Of course I do. You were always on my mind. I've always wanted to go and try to find you but I didn't have a clue on what direction to take to get home. As much as it hurt me, I had to give up on trying to find you."

"I went to the park I first found you everyday for months hoping you would be there. It was false hope but I still went. I stopped when moved out of my parents house and I couldn't go everyday."

"Y/n... Lets move on from that day. I'm sorry I didn't talk at dinner. I just couldn't believe your back in my life. Okay?" He held my hand gave me a soft smile.

"Okay." I smiled back. Hopefully we can go back to the way we were.

"So, you run a bakery now huh? You always wanted to do that."

"It's great! I work with Jess and Jason which makes it even better! They're together by the way, I told you that would happen eventually! You should totally come tomorrow they would be so happy to see you!"

"I was planning on sleeping tomorrow." I hit his shoulder, he's still lazy. "Ow!" He rubs his shoulder.

"Oh come on, you should bring Hoseok too! If you come when we're about to close we can all hang out for a little bit at the bakery."

"Ok fine I'll let him know."

"Yes!" I hugged Yoongi. I can't wait for tomorrow Jess and Jason are going to flip.

"We should probably go back in, I think they wanted to play a movie soon." We both walk in and we see Hobi still in the kitchen.

"Hey guys, everyone else is setting up for the movie. Yoongi can you get a blanket from our room?" Our room?! I know that they've been together for a few years but still didn't think Yoongi would move that fast.
