Alana's P.O.V
I wake up on my bed cuddled up against someone familiar.
I have a massive headache and my jaw really hurts.
I sit up and realize it's Quinn.
"Hey, you're awake!" Quinn exclaims softly yet excitedly as I sit up and wake up properly.
"What happened?" I ask her.
"The last thing I remember was seeing Elijah as the elevator opened before everything went dark." I tell her.
"A lot happened after that. How are you feeling though?" She asks me.
"My head hurts and my jaw too but otherwise I'm fine... I guess." I tell her.
"You want something to drink?" She asks me and I sigh as I stand up.
"I'm not dying, Quinn. I'm sure I can handle getting something to drink." I say and walk out of my room even though I'm feeling lightheaded.
"Alana, wait!" Quinn yells as she rushes after me.
"I'm fine, Quinn. I can handle it." I say as I fall against the wall for a second but quickly stand back up and walk.
I hope she didn't see that.
"You clearly aren't, Alana. Just stop being stubborn. Your head took a hard hit. You need to relax." She says as I continue to walk to the kitchen.
"Don't worry. I got this, Quinn." I say to her as I enter the kitchen.
"Alana!" She yells sounding frustrated.
I see Simon and Elijah sitting at the kitchen island.
They notice me and I give them a shy smile, "I just want something to drink." I tell them softly.
"Quinn should've just called us. We would've brought you something." Simon says to me.
"She was up and out before I could stop her." Quinn says appearing into the kitchen.
"She's not in the right state right now. She should be relaxing somewhere until her concussion goes away." Simon says angrily towards Quinn.
"I know, I'm sorry. I tried to stop her." She says sounding hurt.
"What do you want to drink?" Elijah asks as he stands up.
"No! Don't blame Quinn for this. I got up and out of the bed myself, Simon. I can handle this, okay. It's not like it's the first time. So, could you please not..." I tell him.
"So, what now you don't want me to care about your health, as well?" He asks angrily as he stands up and slams his hand on the kitchen island.
I can't help but flinch.
"I don't know, okay. I'm sorry." I say feeling very overwhelmed all of a sudden.
"No, I'm the one that should be sorry. I didn't mean to scare you, Alana." He says walking over to me.
"It's fine, okay. Just leave it." I say as I stop him.
"No, it's not, Alana. You shouldn't be afraid of me." He says to me.
"I said it's fine okay!" I exclaim angrily and suddenly lose my stance as I feel a little too lightheaded.
I feel someone catch me. It's Elijah.
We make eye contact for a second but he quickly remembers Simon's there.
"See, you need to go to the couch." He tells me.
