It's Tuesday.
My birthday is tomorrow. I can't believe it.
After class we decided to go to the apartment to put our college stuff in my room so we don't have to carry them in when we get back.
We're gonna meet up with Melanie here she said she had the day off. So, she's gonna join us here and we can all go grab something to eat before we go shopping.
We enter the apartment and go put our stuff in my room before we head back to the kitchen to wait for Melanie.
"So, how long do you think she's gonna take?" Quinn asks as she sits down at the kitchen island.
Before I can say anything the elevator dings.
"I guess not long." I tell her and she just smiles and shakes her head. "Yeah, I guess not." She says.
"Hey, how are my girls doing?" She asks as she enters the kitchen.
"Good and you?" I ask her.
"Good, thanks for asking." Quinn adds.
"Good thanks, you girls ready to go?" She asks us.
"Yeah, just waiting on you. No rush though." I tell her.
"Oh, yeah I was waiting for my best friend but she bailed. Anyway I'm here now." She says.
"And we won't bail on you, girl." Quinn says as she stands up and gives her a side hug.
"Thanks, I appreciate it. Can I ask you two one last favor?" She asks us.
"Sure, what do you need?" I ask her.
"Can we maybe get lunch after we're done shopping. I have to take lunch to Simon later." She tells me.
"You still remember the plan for today?" I ask her and she nods.
"Get Simon out of the house before seven. Yeah, we're still on. That's part of the reason I want to take him lunch." She tells me.
"Maybe you can keep him busy and I can stop by and give Elijah a visit as well, and just meet you back down in the lobby?" I ask her.
I want to go say hi to him, maybe some more... you know? Say thank you in advance.
"Oh, of course I can. We always try and fit something into his lunch time, if we get the chance... you know?" She says shyly.
"TMI, but that'll give me some time with Elijah. Maybe I can spoil him too for once." I say to them, as I start to blush.
"Oh, look who's being a naughty girl now. Have you ever done anything like that?" Quinn asks me.
"Ethan never had the balls to, but I've always wondered what it would feel like. You know, the rush you get from the possibility of getting caught or not?" I tell them honestly.
"It feels so good." Quinn blurts out.
"And how would you know?" I ask her curiously.
"Harry and I do it in his office sometimes... for fun." She says as she starts to blush.
"Aren't you afraid of getting caught?" I ask her.
"That's part of the thrill of it. It makes everything feel better." Quinn says.
"So, you two think I should try it? You think Elijah would be down?" I ask them.
"I don't know. He never really talks about that stuff. Simon would probably know but that's not an option right now." Melanie says and I sigh.
"You think if I just showed up, and surprised him, that it will work?" I ask them.
"I doubt he would turn you down. So, why not shoot your shot?" Quinn asks rhetorically.
