It's Saturday today.

Melanie wanted to go get some outfits for tonight so I suggested we do brunch beforehand.

She agreed as I hoped she would and I arranged with Quinn to come with because we do need a second opinion, of course.

Plus she wants to get something new for her date night tonight with Harry too. So, it just kind of made sense for her to come with.

So, right now I got dressed and ready for brunch. Quinn said she would meet us here then we can all go together in her car.

Melanie slept over last night so she's already here. Which makes things just a little easier.

Elijah and I are keen about going on this date together. If we can even call it that.

But we agreed that we need to stay in our lanes because we can't make Simon any more suspicious than he already is.

I grab my phone and my purse and exit my room.

I close the door behind me and as I turn Elijah walks passed me.

We make eye contact for a brief seconds and a faint smile appears on his face before he turns and continues to walk.

It's going to be hard to keep our hands off each other but unfortunately we have to because we haven't yet figured out how to tell Simon exactly.

I take a deep breath and continue my walk to the kitchen.

I enter the kitchen and see Elijah, Melanie and Simon all drinking their morning beverages.

"Good morning." I say as I enter the kitchen and place everything down on the kitchen island.

"Morning, how'd you sleep?" Melanie asks me.

"Good, thanks, and you?" I ask her as I walk and grab myself a cup to make some coffee.

"Great, thanks to this guy over here." She says as she playfully nudges Simon.

I put my cup back into the cupboard, "And I suddenly lost my appetite."

He lets out a laugh, "And why is that?" Simon asks me with a smirk on his face.

"You know why." I say as I turn around back to them.

"Yeah, keep your pillow talk in the bedroom where it belongs." Elijah says as he puts his cup in the sink.

"As if you have never spoken out of the bedroom, Eli." He tells him.

"Not in as much detail as you have." He tells him and takes a sip of his coffee.

"What's that supposed to mean? How much do you share?" Melanie asks him, seeming somewhat angry.

"Let's just say more than enough." Elijah says to Melanie.

"What do you mean? We're best friends we talk about this stuff, dont we?" Simon asks him.

"What if I wanted advice on something?" He asks him panicky before Elijah could say something.

"What would you need his advice on?" I ask Simon curiously.

"That's kind of personal, don't you think?" He asks me.

"So, you can share it with Elijah but not me?" I ask him.

"Exactly. See, Alana, you get it." He tells me, and I can't help but sigh and shake my head.

"Don't you think coming to a girl would be more logical?" I ask him.

"If a girl cumming is what I want Elijah is definitely the man to go to." Simon says crassly.
