+ Convent Garden Market +

We had now been in this carriage for a couple hours.

Tewksbury was asleep his head was on my shoulder.

I didn't want to move he seemed so peaceful.

I chose to leave him there. He was probably
tiered from running. Hopefully no one will report us.

The carriage entered this village. In the entrance of the village The street was full with people selling fruit, vegetables and flowers.

This place looked adorable. Almost as from a dream.

At the further end of the market you could see small houses I guess that was the village and the front was the market.

The carriage came to a stop. I slowly shook Tewkesbury's arm.

"Huh?" He said opened his eyes while putting his head up. His hair was messy and his eyes were slowly opening.

"We are here sleeping beauty" I teased, Laughing a little at his hair.

"Oh. Why couldn't you wake me like this in the woods."

"Oh shut it get up. Hurry" I said to him.

The man opened the carriage door. I stood up and walked out the door. 'Weird he didn't offer his hand' i told myself confused.

Tewksbury got out a few seconds later.

I was amazed of how beautiful the village was.

He nodded his head in a thank you way to the driver.

I'm guessing my faced looked amazed or something because he chuckled.

"What's so funny?" I asked.

"Your face" he responded with a smile that looked like he was about to laugh.

"I haven't been to a village before." I told him.

"It's your first time?"

"No" i answered sarcastically, while looking into his eyes.

He laughed now realizing he had asked a dumb question.

Mother and father didn't like to travel nor have any sort of fun.

The man had already left with the carriage.
"Did you see that the man didn't offer his hand before I got down?" I asked him confused.

He laughed "You are aware that you're dressed like a boy right? Did you forget again?"

"Oh yeah" I responded in realization. I took his coat off and took off his hat. I untied my hair, letting it sit free.

He smiled. "Are you aware that your hair is all over the place?" I told him looking up at his hair.

"Oh" he brushed his hair. I could tell he was embarrassing. I laughed at him.

I looked around, "What's that over there?" I asked pointing to a very unusual fruit.

"I'm not sure let's take a closer look" he responded. He nodded to me to hold his arm. I let out a small laugh.

We crossed the street and took a look at the fruit.

It was a pink color and it had what looked like spikes. The roots of the large spikes were green.

"Now this is a pitaya" he said holding the fruit on his hand and looking at me. "It's mostly known as dragon fruit"

"Dragon fruit?"

"Yes let me show you." He walked over to the man and handed him the money to pay for the fruit. The man gave him a smile.

"May i use your knife please." Asked Tewkesbury.

The man nodded and handed him the knife. He slowly cut the fruit.

The fruit looked beautiful. Like out of this world. The inside was white and had small black seeds all around it.

"Wow" I said in amazement. He laughed.

"What's fun about this fruit is that you can actually eat the seeds" he told me. He handed me on side of the pitaya or 'dragon fruit'

"Don't bite the outside tho. It's taste bad. Take it from experience." He commented.

I laughed at him "of course I'm not. It's like eating the outside of a banana"

He handed me a spoon to scoop up the inside, I took a bite. This tasted so delicious, it was sweet but not that sweet. It tasted fresh. Almost like nothing but with a hint of sweet.

"What do you think?" He asked.

"I think this was sent by the goddesses" I joked, He laughed, although my joke wasn't even funny.

"Come I'll show you around" he said grabbing my hand.

"What's that over there?" I asked nodding towards a group of people in a circle clapping and dancing to music.

"It's a festival it's fruit season so they celebrate for a whole week" he said looking at me

"Let's go?" I asked.

"Whatever you're heart desires" he responded.

I smiled and rolled my eyes at the same Time.

We walked over to the people in the circle and saw people dancing in the middle. We walked forward to take a closer look at the people dancing.

We stood at the front, Tewkesbury was standing next to me.

The rhythm of the music was good. I nodded my head to the rhythm of the music.

I'm guessing Tewkesbury was looking at me.
"Nice dance moves" he teased.

"Oh my" I said embarrassed. I could tell my face was turning red.

"Is the young lady blushing?" He teased even more.

"No, I'm just embarrassed" I defended myself covering my face with both hands.

"Mhm" he said with a grin on his face.

"Hi" said a young voice. I took my hands of my face to see the little girl.

"You look like a princess" she said. I'm guessing she was talking about my dress.

"Thank you" I responded smiling at her.
"You look like a princess too." I told her. She smiled and walked to her little friends.

"would you care to dance?" He asked. I looked back at him to see him stretching his arm out for me to grab.

"Oh...um I don't know how to dance this kind of music" I answered.

I wasn't lying tho. Father would have never let me dance this kind of music.

"I'll show you then" he said smiling at me. With his hand still stretched out.

I looked at the people dancing, they looked so happy.

I looked back at him. He gave me a small nod towards the people dancing.

"Alright then." I grabbed his hand and he walked me towards the middle.
