TW: slight blood
+ control +
After we took care of the situation and had gotten rid of the crazy woman and the man, I felt a little more comfortable sleeping in Tewksbury's palace, since they were gone.
We were in the bathroom to get cleaned up.
I was sitting on the bathroom's marble counter while Tewksbury cleaned up the bloody cut so it wouldn't get infected.
Enola sat on the toilet, putting an ice pack on her back to heal from the fall.
I flinched in pain, "oh sorry darling." He said while giving me a slight squeeze on my hand.
"God damn it my body feels like it will fall apart." Grunted Enola.
"It's reasonable I mean he did drop you on the floor." He replied, concentrated on cleaning the cut carefully.
I kept flinched as I felt the alcohol burn my skin. My eyes watered from me squeezing them shut.
"We should get to London tomorrow morning. We have to report what's happened and inform them the mystery case has been solved." She replied, while standing up and walking towards us.
"We've got to take Veronica to the hospital. The cut looks wide and bandaids won't stop the blood." They both looked at my cut.
"Yes you're right. But for now we'll have to use bandaids." She grabbed the pack of bandages from the emergency kit. She handed the bandaid to Tewksbury which he carefully placed in on the cut.
"We shall head to bed. We've got to get to London first thing in the morning." She replied while walking into the hallway.
Tewksbury smiled and carried me so I could get down from the counter. His eyes looking at mine, his arms wrapped around my waist.
I giggled due to the butterflies I was getting. He smiled. I stood infront of him, god I love this boy, I wanted to kiss him but I controlled myself.
Enola came back to the bathroom "Tewksbury?" She asked, her eyes went wide.
I wasn't sure why or what was going on until I realized Tewksbury and I were extremely close and his arms where still wrapped around my waist.
I cleared my throat, he looked at me and we quickly broke apart.
"Did I interrupt something?" She asked looking at both of us. We stood next to each other.
"No of course not, Tewksbury was helping me get down from the counter." She looked at the counter and then at me.
"Okay. Tewksbury can you show us where the rooms are?" She asked, looking at him. I could tell she didn't believe us.
"Um yeah." He was bright red, he turned towards me motioning to follow him.
We both followed him upstairs, it seemed impossible not to get lost.
I couldn't tell where we were going. Their was millions of hallways and stairs. If it was easy to get lost during the day it would be extremely impossible not to at night.
Enola walked next to me, while Tewksbury walked infront of us. She nudged my shoulder "I want to know everything that happened in the bathroom." She whispered just loud enough for me to hear.
"Nothing happened."
She looked at me, "mhm. Spill."
Thankfully Tewksbury Broke our small talk. "This is it." He opened a door which revealed a spacious room, he turned on the lights. The room was beautiful and it definitely looked wealthy.
