+ Finishing school +I waved goodbye to Cris and Leo before walking inside with William.
Mother looked down from upstairs. "Did you have fun?" She asked us.
"Yes it was amazing!" I replied, she smiled.
"Oh, William dear will you go look for your father and tell him that Veronica is almost ready to go." He nodded his head and went to look for father, the smile left my face at once.
I walked upstairs to where my mother was standing, My suit case was next to her.
My heart sank and I could feel the lump in my throat. Tears forming in my eyes.
"I know, i know." Responded Mother as she brought me in for a hug. This instantly made me cry.
"It's okay." I could hear Mother's voice braking as she spoke. She rubbed my back with her hand. Soon we found each other crying as we hugged.
"You ready Vonnie?" I looked down at once, I hadn't heard father say that nickname in years. I nodded my head and wiped my tears away before grabbing my suitcase and walking towards the stairs.
Before I took the first step down that stair I ran up to Mother and gave her a big goodbye hug.
"You be careful okay?" I nodded my head and ran downstairs.
I looked at William who was standing next to the door, more tears filled my eyes.
"Bye." I spoke as tears fell down my eyes. He hugged me and then wiped my tears away
"you keep in touch with me." He gave me a small smile. His eyes were sad. I nodded my head and walked out with father.
He carried my bag and we both walked over to the carriage. Before walking in I looked back and saw William and Mother smiling at me and waving. I waved back and sat inside. Father sat next to me.
The sun was going down, the manor disappearing in the distance.
We passed the smiths house. I couldn't see anyone outside but I smiled at the house.
I looked at father he looked at me and smiled. He opened his mouth but before he could say anything I spoke.
"This is the best for me." He nodded his head and Although I didn't agree with him I didn't say anything.
_______
We had finally arrived, the air was cold and the rain poured from the sky.
I hadn't noticed it had been raining until father woke me up from the nap. He gave me an umbrella.
The finishing school was almost four as big as the manor.
A woman with blond locks and green dress lead me through the place.
It was silente and our footsteps echoed. The bright chandeliers lighting up the entire School.
The woman lead me to a room and i found myself speaking to Miss Harrison.
"You've missed supper, but no matter. You could be loosing a pound or two." She criticized me, while looking me up and down.
I didn't really care of what she thought of me because I knew perfectly well that I every body was perfect. Mother had taught me this, and why should I listen to this old lady that would criticize everyone.
