+ Im sorry +

"So you genuinely believe our life's in danger?" He asked walking into the kitchen while she made the tea.

I was sitting on the chair next to the small table.

"Uh, from whom?" He said trying not to look at me.

"Your past and your future."  She responded pouring water on the tea pot.

"Whatever does that mean?"  I asked.

"Your family's. They didn't send a detective to find you. They could have, but instead they they send a murder after you Tewksbury."

"What about me?"  I asked. Worried that they've send a murder to find me.

"I don't know what they've send for you. But I don't want to risk any chances of it being a murder or not." She responded.

"Why would anyone want me dead?" Asked Tewkesbury. She put the pot on the fire.

"Countless reasons"  she responded. I laughed. "Your personality, your ridiculous hair..."

"Your silly smile..."  I added with a smile. He looked at me confused on I was on her side. "Or possibly your land, your estate, your title, your seat." I added not wanting him to think I had something against him.

"Same reasons they wanted your father." Said Enola.

"Greed does funny things to people, Tewkesbury." I told him so he'd understand.

"So you are both assuming that they killed
My father?"

"It's a possibility."  I told him.

"I don't think. I know."  Confirmed Enola.

"No. No, none of this makes the slightest sense. My fathers death was caused by a botched burglary, and- and it would have been easier to kill me before i ran away, rather than now"

I walked up to him. He was getting a panic attack. "Hey" I said, while grabbing his arm to calm him down a bit.

"I entirely agree. I think they tried to. I found branch that almost killed you. It had been cut."  She told him.

"Cut?" We asked. His family is insanely crazy

"Better you-" said a voice. I turned around and saw a man. He had been hiding behind the door. It wasn't the man from the train it was different man.

Darker skin, long black beard and a much more noticeable accent.

Enola threw the pot with the boiling water at him and dashed to the door.

"Oh gosh!" Yelled the man falling to the ground. We stood there in shock of what had just happened.

"Come on!"  Shouted Enola. Tewksbury grabbed my hand and we both ran behind Enola.

"Come back here!"  We ran out of the kitchen and into the hallway.

"Who's he?" I shouted while running. We ran out of the room.

Tewksbury was still holding my hand tight. We ran into a different room and Enola closed the door behind me.

"Move the chest! Move the chest!" Tewksbury let go of my hand to move the chest infront of the door.

"Open up, miss posy, or should I say Miss Holmes?"  We helped her push the chest towards the door so that the man couldn't come in.

"Inspector Lestrade, I need to report an attempt murder. You're supposed to be on our side."  She shouted.

We aren't strong enough. Any moment now he will bush us all away from the door.

The man grunted and pushed the door trying to get in. "Help me get in through this door."  He spoke to someone. He wasn't alone.

"Well, I'll help you when I get my money, my finder's fee." Responded an old woman.

"You'll get your money when we catch them. Come on!" We heard from outside.

I grunted in pain. The wooden desk was leaving splinters on my hands.

"See that window over there?" Panted Enola. She nodded her head towards the small window that leads to the roof of the building.

"It leads into a roof. I need you both to climb out and take off into nowhere."  She told us.

"And leave you here alone?"  I said to her in a tone of are you mad?'

"I need to hold this door!"

"You need to get away too!" He told her.

"If he catches you both, your life's will be in danger.  If he catches me, it's simply a life I do not want. Now go."She explained, pushing the desk harder on the door.

"I won't leave you here, Enola."  I said looking into her eyes.

There was a lot of banging on the door. Sooner or later this door was going to fly open.

"Go!"  She shouted at both of us. "Go!"  Tewksbury nodded to her and grabbed my hand once again.

"No. No, we can't leave her here and you know this!" I shouted at him trying to go fight back and help Enola.

"Darling we have to go now!" He climbed out of the window before me. He jumped into the roof and stretched his hand out for me.

I looked back at Enola. I didn't want to leave her here.

"You have to go now V!"  She grunted.

It was too late the man had pushed the door open.

The woman he was with grabbed Enola's hand and he ran towards me. I reached out for Tewkesbury's hand but he was pulling me back.

"No!" Screamed Enola and Tewkesbury. The Man was pressing on my wrist like heck.

I grunted in pain. I couldn't hold on anymore. My hand became numb.

I looked at Tewkesbury's eyes. He looked into mine. He knew it was coming.

"Don't. Hold on please!"  He pleaded, tears forming in his eyes as he tried to hold my hand.

"I'm sorry."  I let go of his hand. The man grabbing me and pushing me towards Enola.

I looked back Tewksbury was gone. My brunette boy.

"They're worth more, i have her."  He said holding me tight. "But you give me great pleasure. I'll get a Great amount of money from her and as if from you I will be well rewarded."  He said grabbing her. The woman chuckled.
