"What happened here?"

Xie Lian raised his head, and saw [Name] standing outside the door. Qi Rong followed his gaze, eyes widening. "[Name]! It's you!---!" Before Qi Rong could shout even further, Xie Lian called forth Rouye and bound, throwing him aside.

You almost jumped when by the sudden action and immediately rushed to Xie Lian's side. "Lian! Are you okay? Why is Qi Rong here?" Xie Lian deeply exhaled and stood up. "I don't know." He said.

Qi Rong turned his head and spat more blood-laced spit in a different direction. Then a child reach out pathetically to pat his forehead. "Dad are you okay? Does it hurt?"

Turning around, you saw a familiar child the one you rescued before they'll be boiled into the huge cauldron. The child notice your presence and pleads. "Gege, please don't beat up my dad. Let us go and we won't steal from you again." He said. You smiled softly and crouch down to his level. "What's your name, little one?"

"My name is Guzi." The child replied then tilts his head, staring at your white silver hair. "Gege has beautiful hair. You're like a fairy!" You chuckled and patted his head gently. "Thank you and you're so cute."

Xie Lian had finished collecting all the ashes and wrapped them in layers of a costume, tying it up neatly before placing the bundle within the coffin new and closed the cover. "Guzi, the one over there is not your dad, but someone else." Xie Lian said. You nod your head in agreement. "That's right, he's been possessed. He's currently a bad guy" You added.

The child couldn't comprehend what he said and looked confused. "Someone else? No, I recognized him, he's my dad." You sighed in defeat. Qi Rong started laughing. "Hahaha! Not bad, not bad, I've picked up a cheap son, what a great value! Hahaha---oofff!" You close an eye when Xie Lian kicked him.

You placed Guzi down the ground and gave him a dumpling from the offering table while Xie Lian rudely stuffed the other into Qi Rong's mouth.

Qi Rong spat out the meat bun and cussed at how it tasted bad then yelled, "I say! You won't actually hand me over to Hua Cheng, will you?"

Xie Lian sneered. "You're not scared, are you?"

You watched Qi Rong talking to Xie Lian and felt something is very strange to him. He was so obviously terrified of Hua Cheng, so why was he trying to provoke him nonstop. A pixie flew near your ear to whisper and immediately, you knew what Qi Rong was trying to do. He was intentionally trying to distract Xie Lian!

Your gut instincts made you look up and saw a black clothed man above, his back pressed against the ceilings like a bat. Xie Lian immediately pulled out Fang Xin and hurled up the sword. The black clothed man dodged the attack, he flipped and fell down. Guzi was so terrified his meat bun fell to the ground and wailed. Before Qi Rong could scream, Rouye sealed his mouth and dragged him to a corner.
