"Are you doing anything today?" He asked, looking down at me with those crazy stupid addictive green eyes.

I shook my head no, "I'm free all day," I reply.

"Perfect, would you like to go on a walk with me?"

"Of course, I'd love to," I say, placing a kiss on his cheek and then allowing him to lead the way out of the castle.

It'd been a while since I'd actually been outside the castle. Other than Hagrid's class, I didn't really have a reason to visit the black lake or simply enjoy the outdoors.

Once we were far enough from the castle, Neville held my hand as we walked side by side, chatting about anything we could think of.

"So where are we going?" I ask as we were probably a mile away from the school.

"It's a surprise, we're almost there my flower," he replied softly.

Not long after, he led us to the biggest weeping willow, I'd ever seen. I looked up at it in awe. The strings of leaves swayed in the wind as if they were dancing to some secret melody.

Leading me through the leaves, my eyes fell onto a small basket and a large light green blanket laid out.

I tugged his hand to have him face me, "I thought I was supposed to plan our next date?" I said, trying to put on a questioning look but failing, not able to hide my smile.

Neville shrugged and sat down on the blanket, slightly tugging my arm to invite me down. Releasing his hand I sat down on my knees and leaned on my arm.

I shook my head at the brunette, unable to properly hide my smile, so I nervously began to fiddle with the hem of my skirt looking down.

"You're not actually upset are you?" He asked, placing a gentle hand on mine.

I shook my head looking back up at him, of course I wasn't upset at him.

"Do you need to constantly remind me that you are the most perfect boyfriend and that I don't deserve you?" I said sarcastically, though I knew every word was true.

"Don't talk about yourself like that," he frowned.

I cupped his cheek with my hand, smiling at him, "but you are the best, really, thank you for all of this you really must stop spoiling me," I said looking around.

He smiled into my palm, placing a gentle kiss on my wrist before turning around and handing me a sandwich.

"Well you should at least tell me why you did all this, you must have some reason," I asked with a small laugh, taking a bite out of the sandwich.

"Well, really, I just was thinking about how the only places we really get to enjoy each other's company is in a dorm or a study room," he replied with a frown, "and I know we both share a love of nature so..."

I gave him an appreciative smile and then leaned forward, placing a small peck on his cheek, "I'm the happiest girl in the world."

All these big gestures really made my heartache for him. I wanted to let him know how much I cared for him and all that he does; to show him.

We enjoyed the rest of the picnic together, laughing and talking. Shame Neville was so quiet usually in school, or really that people never gave him the chance to speak, because he had the most soothing voice in the world. I could listen to him talk for hours on end.

Eventually, it was time to start heading back to the castle. I insisted on helping clean up the picnic and hand in hand we exited from under the tree.
