I woke up next to the boy I loved, comforted, resting my head on his chest and listing to his beating heart. The steady beat of his heart sounding in my ears. There was something about Sunday mornings that was so peaceful. Maybe it was the freedom of a lazy day, but the knowing Monday is just hours away. It adds appreciation.

Sadly, I knew this wasn't going to be just a lazy Sunday. I was determined to find out what this Cedric drama was. It was causing the biggest rift our relationship has ever faced and I knew without learning everything, it would never really be solved.

I slid out of bed, trying my hardest to not disturb Neville's peaceful slumber. He stirred a bit when I stood, causing me to bite my lip in anticipation, but thankfully he seemed to stay asleep.

I got dressed quietly into some jeans and one of Neville's sweaters, throwing my hair up into a ponytail and slipping out the door. I headed down for breakfast, hoping my favorite girl would be already there.

Hermione is one of Neville's oldest friends and hopefully my key to understanding this Cedric problem.

I entered the great hall greeted by the overwhelming smell of breakfast and quite early morning chatter. Hermione was sitting toward the center of the Gryffindor table with Harry. Ron was presumably still in bed, sleeping through the morning.

I sat myself next to Hermione, across from the black-haired boy giving him a polite smile before immediately turning to speak to her.

"Morning 'mione," I greeted.

"Morning to you as well," She replied warmly, "How are you?"

"I'm doing alright thanks, I did want to ask your help with something."

"Yeah of course, what is it?" She asked.

"Uhm, so did something happens between Neville and Cedric Diggory last year or something?" I asked chewing my bottom lip nervously.

I heard a humored exhale from the boy sitting across but I stayed focused on Hermione. Harry probably was overjoyed with any problem Neville and I faced and it was too early to argue with him.

She shook her head with a frown, "Sorry I don't know anything about that."

I sighed and nodded, "It's alright."

Harry cleared his throat, demanding my attention and I finally gave in, looking over to him.

"Yes Potter?" I said.

"You could at least say good morning first," He said narrowing his eyes.

"Alright, good morning chosen one! I oh so hope your breakfast has been going splendid!" I said overdramatically.

"That was unnecessary," He deadpanned, "You should be nicer to me if you wanna know the answer to your question."

My eyes widened slightly, "You know?"

He nodded crossing his arms. "How come I don't know about this?" Hermione asked almost upset.

Harry shrugged, "It never came up I guess."

"Well spill it," I said.

"I don't know you seem really desperate to know, and I don't feel very inclined to tell you," He replied.

"Harry," Hermione said in a disappointed voice that was almost scolding.

"Oh come on 'mione, it's not like we're friends."

I sighed at the truth of his words, I couldn't make him tell me anything. "So how do yu know anyways?" I asked.

"Because we're mates, clearly," He stated as if it was obvious.
