After a couple of hours of studying in my dorm, there was a knock on my door.
"Come in!" I said, not wanting to get off my bed.
I looked up and saw Theo enter my room, slowly looking around. He'd never been in here before.
"You good?" I asked as he had yet to say anything.
"Oh sorry, we're heading down to dinner. Have you been studying this whole time?"
I shook my head, a frown spreading on my lips, "Where's Draco? He's usually the one who gets me for meals."
Theo shrugged, "He's been out all day, I would say with you but clearly not."
I closed my textbook and got up from my bed, not saying another word as we exited into the common room to meet Blaise.
Pansy was nearby but she didn't leave the common room with us. I didn't question it.
We entered the bustling common room, lively as ever. I glanced over at our empty seats at the Slytherin table and then had a glance over at the Gryffindor table.
"You guys can go without me, I'm gonna go over there," I say motioning over towards the Gryffindors.
The boys looked at each other awkwardly and then at me. I still hadn't told Theo about the conversation Blaise and I had, but either way, it's still weird for them to sit alone together. I sighed and glanced back at Gryffindor's table.
Everyone was there, Neville, Harry, Hermione, the twins, Ron, even Luna. I wanted to sit over there so badly, most to see my lovely boyfriend but everyone else too, I haven't spoken to Luna in so long as well.
"Right well you two have fun," I say, walking away before either of them could stop me.
I sat myself right across from Neville, beside Hermione who was next to Ron and the twins. Harry was next to Luna who was next to Neville. I smiled at my favorite person in the whole room and then turned toward Hermione. I eyed her lap, where Ron's hand was placed low enough so no one else could see.
Hermione followed my gaze and pushed off Ron's hand while she cleared her throat, indicating her nerves.
I acted as if I saw nothing, I couldn't imagine why she would hide her relationship, everyone knew they had a thing for each other anyways. Still, I respected Hermione.
I smiled at her, "Hey mione."
"Hey, how are you?" She asked kindly.
"I've been well thank you. And you?"
She fiddled with a loose curl and replied, "Yeah I'm good too."
I turned to Neville, his green eyes still give me butterflies, "What about you Neville?"
He adjusted in his seat slightly, gently pressing his knee against mine, the sudden touch making my stomach do a flip.
"I'm wonderful, thank you," he replied with a smile.
"You look so nice in a smile Neville," Luna said.
Almost simultaneously, we both looked at the small girl and Neville responded, "Oh Uhm, thank you, Luna."
She nodded and placed her hand on his arm for a moment in response. I hooked my foot around Neville's ankle almost instinctively. Apart of me wanted to climb over the table and sit on his lap but that'd be crazy.
And it wasn't Luna's fault she thought Neville was single. Really it's my fault, and even though I knew that, it didn't make me feel any less jealous.
