The Truth

"Oh my goodness. ASHTON! WAKE UP!" I'm not even sure he is breathing. "BABY, PLEASE DON'T DO THIS!" I pull out my phone and call an ambulance.

They got there within ten minutes. Which I am grateful for because if it weren't for their speedy arrival Ash wouldn't have survived. They said he was very lucky, the doctors, anyway. They said the combination of drugs was a straight death wish.

Cocaine and oxy to be exact. I am just so hurt and angry that he lied to me.

"Hey, beautiful!"

"Ashton, don't even! You lied to me and I can't explain the pain I am feeling right now. I literally almost lost you back there. You were unconscious. Not here. That could have been forever." I can't even talk anymore.

All the room is filled with are the sounds of me trying to muffle my sobs.

"Baby, I didn't mean to lie... it just kind of happened that way. I hadn't planned for you to ever find out." But I did find out and I am so infuriated.

I didn't even respond. I just got up and walked out the door. Slamming it as lightly as possible so the doctors don't think I'm rude or something.

"Mikey. Why the hell have you been keeping this from me? You knew why he was going to the bathroom... why didn't you stop him?"

"Because he is one of my best friends and I'm not about to rat him out, Tin!"

"Micheal, he is in the hospital... He was basically dead... What would you have done if he DID die?" Kiley butts in, which I'm kind of happy about because I was tired of talking.

"He wouldn't have."

"But he almost did."

"Yeah, almost! He's here so let's be happy about that!"

"There is more to just being happy about the situation. This is the time we take to talk about getting Ash clean and figure out how to make sure he doesn't do it again." She has a good point and I think she was able to persuade Mikey because he shut up real quick.

"I don't think he'll do it agian. Now that he knows how bad it hurt you, Tinleigh." I can tell Mikey wants me to forgive him.

But honestly I don't know if I can. I had just told him about Oscar. I also asked him if the tabloids were right and he told me no. He straight uplied to my face.

I don't know if he was trying to protect me from the pain that would come with knowing or the fact that my life hasn't exactly been perfect for the last year or so. Or maybe he was so caught up in the drugs and the high that he didn't care if I knew or not. Or maybe he just didn't know what was going on?

I have no idea. All I know is I am so hurt and I can't handle this pain!

"Mikey... I don't care. HE LIED AND I AM DONE!" I start to walk out only to find Ashton standing in his door way crying and lookig so helpless.

"Please don't leave me, Tin. I need you!"

Was I really about to leave him? He has been here for me through everything. I can't just leave him.

But he lied...
