Getting Better

It is finally summer! I couldn't be more happy. Jocelyn loved Summer. Her funeral was less than two months ago. I had a very hard time coping. Ashton had to basically drag me out of the church. I didn't want to leave. My baby sister was lying there, right in front of me, dead! The last bit of family I had left was gone.

It took me forever to get over the hurt. I'm still not completely over it. It isn't fun not having family. I do have Ashton and Alex, they are sorta like Family. Alex more than Ashton but you get it.

I am currently waiting for that sexy aussie at the moment. We are suppose to go to a concert over in Sydney. Alex has got a huge opening act. At least that's what they keep telling me.

Actually that's all they will tell me. They won't say whom the person is. I'm guessing they don't want me to blurt it out. But we'll see!

"Ashton! You said you wanted to be out by eight and it is now half past... Hurry your ass up!" I say full of sass as I throw my bag over my shoulder.

"Right, I'm ready. I'm ready."

"Good! Can we stop and get a burger or something? I am starving!"

"Sure fatty!" He says humorously and I playfully slap his arm in response. He only laughs and we make our way out to the car.
We have pulled in to a Burger joint.

"What do you want?"

"Hmmm. I want a triple patty with a large fry and a medium chocolate shake!" I feel like a fatty now that I listen to my order.

"Well, I'll have that, too!" He says before speaking in to the little microphone box thing.

After we get our food we continue our journey to Alex's big
showcase. I am really excited to see who they got to open up for her.
