*Tinleigh's POV*
I'm getting married! It is kind of hard to believe that I, Tinleigh Gertrude Santado, have found someone, the one, to spend the rest of my life with. Someone that has been here through literally the toughest of times. A guy that has helped me over come so many things and become a healthier me.
The wedding will be hard only because I won't have my family there by my side. But I know Ash's family is very accepting and I have every amount of love and care from them just as Ash does. It makes it a lot easier. I just hope I don't have too big of a void on that special day. Our special day.
"Hey, gorgeous. What are you up to?" Ash softly speaks into my ear as he hugs me from behind.
"Just, thinking. I'm so happy and it's amazing to feel this way and know that you're the one that has made it happen. I love you, so much."
"Awww, Tin you're too cute. I love you, too. I can't wait for you to be my wife and I can't wait for the rest of our lives. I know this is usually what people say in their vows. But I love you so much I can find new ways to tell you at any time. It's like you were the star that kept me company when we were up there and we found each other again down here and it's our time to shine here before we go back."
"Oddly that was beautiful and as much as I hate to say it you're the best!"
"Hey! I am, thank you... meanie." He stuck his tongue out at me, gave me a kiss on the cheek and went on with his prior business.
When I think about the time I have spent with Ashton I realize he makes me as happy as my parents and Jocelyn did and it's absolutely incredible that this kind of happiness is possible, again.
*Knock at the door*
"I'll get here." Ash yells to me as I make my way down stairs to see who it is so early in the morning. "Harry?"
"Harry? Wha- what are you doing here?"
"I just came to check up on you. I haven't seen you since you were back in Ohio and I wanted to make sure you were doing okay and I wanted to say hi. So... Hi!" This is so weird.
"You... came all this way... to say hello?" Ashton asks so confused with a sprinkle of bull shit lingering in his tone. "'Tis very strange Harold. You, my friend are one of a kind. Do come in."
"Yes, of course. Uhhh, I can't stay long. I've got to say hi to the rest of the boys before I go back to my boys."
"Oh, no worries. Would you like some tea?" I ask, while Ash stands awkwardly by the front door.
"Um, yeah, tea sounds good."
I hand Harry his tea and can't help but feel him staring at me from across the kitchen. "What? Have I got something on my face?" I laugh and snuggle into Ash's shoulder.
"No, no. I was just looking at your hand and I noticed a ring and I was just wondering... well... are you.. are you two, ya know... en-engaged?"
"Oh, Ye-" I'm cut off by Ashton.
"Yes, Harry, we are. We are getting married. Is that a problem?"
"No, I just, I was just curious."
"Uh huh, just curious? Okay. Anything else you're "just curious" about, Harry?"
"No sir." Harry giggled into his cup of tea.
"So, do tell me what so funny?" I have no idea what has gotten into Ashton but he is never this rid to ANY of the boys.
"Ashton, what's gotten into you?"
"Me? Are you serious, Tin? Please, PLEASE tell me you are not this oblivious. I'm begging you to tell me you are aware."
"Aware of what?"
"Uhh, I can just go and come back another time if you'd like?"
"I would love for you to leave, Harry."
"Ashton, that's a little uncalled for."
"Oh is it? Why don't you kiss his ass while you show him to the door?"
"Harry, I'm very sorry. I don't know what has gotten into him. I'm sure it's nothing and he'll be fine later. You just go on with your day and I'll call ya later, okay?"
"Of course, and Ashton if I have done something to offend you, I'm sorry."
"Just leave." And with that Harry left.
"Ashton, seriously? Why are you being such an ass?"
"I'm being an ass? This guy comes in here says he hasn't seen YOU since YOU were in Ohio and that he wanted to make sure YOU were okay and that he came to say hi... HI? Who in the hell comes 10,000 miles to say freaking hi? Not a normal kinda pal."
"This guy is your friend, first off and secondly... What are you trying to say?"
"Just tell me something."
"Anything.."
"Did... Did you sleep with him?"
"Are you freaking kidding me?"
"No. Did you?"
"No, Ashton, I didn't. He's just a shoulder I cried on while I was worried sick about you being on drugs and being in the hospital."
"Tin, don't cry, please baby. I just. I'm scared I'm not good enough for you and he might have been. I don't know. I'm just, I'm insecure and I don't want to lose you so I got a little angry thinking he had a thing for you. I'm sorry, baby. I didn't mean to upset you. Forgive me?"
"You're a dork. I forgive you, yes. Just stop jumping to conclusions all the time. And call Harry to apologize. Explain to him why you went off on him."
"I will, baby." He says as he kisses my forehead and walks away.
"And, Ashton. I love you."
"I love you, too."
*Ash's POV*
I may have gone a little overboard but she's my girl and I just wanted to make sure it stayed that way.
"Hey, Harry, I'm just calling to tell you I'm sorry. I was just a little jealous, I guess."
"Oh, no worries, pal. I'm fine. Just congrats on the engagement and the girl. I'll see ya soon, okay?"
"Yeah, you got it. See ya, Harry."
Well, I'm a little okay now. But what did he mean by, "and the girl"?
Maybe he does have a thing for Tinleigh. I mean, it makes sense. Why would he come all this way if he didn't?
// well, guys. I know it kinda sucked but it will start getting good soon. Love you guys. 'Til next time.//
