"The Neverbeast"

Madeline returned to where she first found Tiger Lily. She wondered how did Tiger Lily got caught in the trap and who was the one to put it there. It was as if it was planned. Because what else can you trap- "The Neverbeast!" Maddie gasped.

Could it be that someone was trying to capture it? But who could it be?

She decided to sit down and lean on the tree to rest. "This questions are making my head hurt." she groaned. In no time, Madeline fell asleep. Little did she know, she was watched by someone.

Oh, more like something.

Back at the Indian's camp, Peter and Tiger Lily were in a cabin, talking.

"What is it now, Lily?" Peter asked. The Indian princess walked over to him, "I know what you're doing Peter."

Peter raised his brow, "What is it now?"

"You're trying to make the red head princess fall in love with you so that she stays." she said. She turned her back, "But what if you fall in love too, Peter? What about our plan?

He looked at her emotionlessly then his expression changed. He sighed, "Oh Lily, was my acting that good that even you believe that I'll ever love that red head?" he laughed, "Please. Madeline? She's just a tool.

Tiger Lily stared at him suspiciously. "You better be telling the truth. Because our plan is going to succeed soon." she sinisterly smiled as she took a glass ball from her chest.

Pan just looked at it. In his head, he was asking himself if he was really telling the truth. Because he knows, it will be a big conflict if he wasn't.

A little girl was walking alone in the forest, enjoying following a butterfly. The butterfly landed on a well, and the little girl sneaked up on it like it was her prey, then she clasped her hands, trapping the insect. "Gotcha!"

She slowly took a peek and then saw that the butterfly was crushed when she captured it. She teared up, feeling sorry for what she did. "Oh no. I'm so sorry, little butterfly. Oh, what do I do?" she looked up and saw that no one was around. "Nobody is here. Oh, I didn't mean to crush you. I'm so sorry." she cried.

"It doesn't know you're sorry though." a voice said. The little girl then saw a boy, who's around her uncle's age, she guessed. A teenager. "But I am sorry." she said, looking at the poor insect on her little fingers.

The lad kneeled down, leveling her, "Yes, you are. But to it, all it knows is that it's life has finally ended because, well, someone smashed it."

The girl cried again and he tried to comfort her. "But I don't want it to die." she cried.

"Then bring it back to life." he said.

"But how?"

"Magic."

She stared at him, having no idea of what he was talking about. But she was still willing to listen. "Here let me show you. Clasp your hands, careful not to crush him again, lass." he instructed. The girl obediently followed what he said and carefully clasped her hands again.

"Now, here's the tricky part. You have to focus. You want this butterfly to fly again, right?

"Yes."

"Right. Now, close your eyes and think of how much you want it to fly again."

She tightly closed her eyes and did what she was told. Please fly again, please fly, please please again. She kept saying in her mind. Then, after a few seconds, she felt a tingle on her little hands. She slowly opened it and the butterfly flew free. She gasped and cheered. "It worked!"
