"A Girl is Handy"

Madeline found herself in a soft bed when she woke up. She closed her eyes again, thinking she was in her room. But then her eyes widened and sat up quickly after realizing she was abducted.

The last thing she remembered was she found some boys dancing around the fire. She looked around the room and it was full of glowing trinkets, old books, scrolls and maps. She guessed it was Peter Pan's room.

She looked down at her body and saw her clothes were still on her. She sighed, "I'm still intact."

Madeline was about to get out of bed when Peter entered and went straight behind his desk. He looked stressed and looked like didn't have any sleep. He didn't noticed Madeline was up and staring at him. She cleared her throat.

His head instantly lifted to her. It was then Madeline noticed the dark bags under his eyes. "You're awake." He said. "Uh, yes." She got out of bed and tried to find her boots.

"How are you feeling?" Peter asked her as he handed her boots. She stared at her boots then at Peter. "Um, fine. Thank you." She took her boots. "Uh, how did I-"

"You fainted because you were starving. Good thing my Lost Boy found you." Peter snapped. "Tell me, are the Charmings feeding you properly?"

Madeline's brows arched. "Yes, they are. I just didn't have a chance to eat dinner the night you abducted me, because you created a chaos. And your Lost Boys?" She stated. Peter looked away, "Yes, my Lost Boys, they belong to me. And you could have atleast told me before storming off and getting lost!"

"And who's fault is it why I stormed off and got lost in a damned forest?!" Madeline snapped back at him. Peter glared at her but didn't said a word. Madeline rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. "How long was I asleep?"

"One week."

"One week?!" Maddie repeated. "Wow, I could sleep for one week if I get starved?" She said to herself. Peter was just silently listening.

He took a pair of blouse and leather pants and handed them to her. Madeline stared at him and raised her brows. "What's that?"

"Clothes."

"I know they're clothes! What am I going to do with it?"

"Obviously wear them." Peter said. The girl was giving him a headache already. He didn't have any good sleep for one week because he was too worried about Madeline's condition.

He took care of her while she was unconscious. Peter Pan much liked sleeping Madeline than awake Madeline. Especially when she has enough energy to oppose him and he didn't.

Peter handed the clothes and dragged her out of the cabin. "What the- Where are you taking me?!" Madeline squirmed. "Bath."

"Pardon?!" Madeline's eyes widened. "I'm taking you to the nearest river and you take a bath there! There would be enough time before we go back and the food will be ready. So if you please, you had a one good ol' week of sleep and I didn't, because I had to watch over you. So I don't have enough energy to deal with your headstrong attitude!" Peter snapped at Madeline.

Madeline was surprised at Peter's confession. That's why he looked so tired and stressed because he was looking after her while she was asleep for one week. Peter didn't even realize he told that to her, probably because of his lack of sleep.

Madeline let Peter lead her to the river. She thought she could use a long bath. Afterall, she didn't shower for one week. Good thing she doesn't really smell that bad.

The Lost Boys were staring and listening to them from the moment they started to quarrel. "They sounded like an old couple fighting" Felix said and all of the Lost Boys agreed by nodding.

Peter showed Madeline the Sheeny River. It was the most beautiful and shiny river in Neverland. Madeline was in awe. She have never seen a river with sparkling water before. And it was so beautiful.

"What are you waiting for? Me to undress you?" Peter said. Madeline snapped and glared at him. Her glare was so sharp that it could draw a hole on Peter's skull.

Peter raised his hands up in defeat. "I'm just kidding. You go do your thing and I'll be right behind this rock if you need me, love." He winked at her and went to sit by the rock, with his back on Madeline.

"And how am I so sure that you won't take a peak?" Madeline crossed her arms. "Oh, I won't, love. It's not worth looking for." He chuckled. Madeline gasped and threw a rock at him. But Pan is Pan, he effortlessly caught it without looking.

"I was kidding. I know how to keep promises, love." He whistled. Madeline scoffed and went to the nearest tree to undress and splashed on the cold waters of Sheeny River. "Now, this is refreshing."

She enjoyed her swim, while Pan was silently snoring behind the rock. He finally got some rest after a week of lacking sleep. So how can he take a peak?

Madeline stared at Pan who she knows is sleeping already. I wonder why did he had to watch over me the whole week, when he could just order someone else to do it. But I'm still thankful. Atleast I know he didn't hang me or tried to roast me to feed to his Lost Boys. Madeline thought to herself.

She then imagined herself as a mermaid and thought of asking Peter if there were mermaids around Neverland. Which she is sure there is. She always wanted to see one.

After she had enough of her swimming session, she dressed into the clothes Peter gave to her. It was an off shoulder white blouse and a strapped brown bodice and black leather pants. It fits her exactly and she found it really comfortable.

She went to Peter who was still in Dreamland amd stared at him. She wondered how a young and innocent looking boy like him is actually a cunning and sly devil. He would even fit to be Henry's older brother than Henry's great-grandfather. She thought.

Peter's green eyes then opened and met hers. She gasped. Peter kept staring at her and noticed she dressed into the clothes he gave earlier. "It suits you well, love." He smiled.

Madeline felt her face warmer and butterflies on her stomach. She almost slapped her face for it. "U-uh... Thank you!"

It was the first compliment she got from a guy other than David, Killian, Henry or even Neal. It felt so nice, it made her smile.

"H-how was your sleep?" She asked him. Peter yawned and streched. "Finally, a good one."

They stared at each other for a while when Madeline decided to break it. "I'm really hungry!" She stood up. Peter sighed but then also got up and made his way back to camp.

Madeline sighed in relief. She didn't know what was happening back there. She thought she was going crazy for a second. Or her mind was probably tricking her because of hunger.
