"Damsel In Distress"
It was the middle of the day, Madeline felt a pang of hunger. She forgot she didn't have any breakfast earlier, well, because of being kidnapped. Again.
'Just when is this kidnapping thing going to end?'. She thought to herself. She thought of when Peter first kidnapped her. 'Well, atleast he didn't to hit me or something.'
Her stomach growled and she just groaned. All the Indians did was tie her hands and feet up and left her in a tent, even alone. No guards to guard her if she ran away. But she bet there'll be a lot of them outside.
She wondered what Peter Pan is doing right now. Was he looking for her? Did he knew she's missing? Is he doing anything to find her right now? Of course he knows she's missing, right?
But what if he'll just let her die? She gulped and shook her head. 'Why am I even thinking about this right now?'
She looked down on her hands and feet. Well, good thing no one is looking after her, if they think she can't get away.
The princess started taking off the cloth tied on her mouth. They had to put it on her so that she'd stop screaming earlier or rather they'll stop hearing her screamings.
She almost got it off when she sensed someone was coming, so she stopped. The tent opened and it showed the man who took her earlier.
"You must be hungry." He said, a tray of food in his hands.
Madeline's eyes shoot up to him. She doesn't remember his American accent while talking to their chief earlier. She narrowed her eyes.
The man took off the tie on her mouth, and she immediately spoke, "I don't remember you sounded so fluent in English earlier."
"Well, that's because I don't really sound fluent in front of the chief." He said. The man took off his mask and showed his face. "And I'm not originally from here."
"You're just a boy." Madeline said in awe. If he puts on his mask, by his height, he can be mistaken as a man already. But if he shows off his face, you can tell he's just a kid.
"More like a teenager." He corrected. "H-how did you got here? Where are you from? W-who are you?" Madeline kept asking.
"You're quite a talker. And I'm not. Now eat." He put down the tray. "I'm pretty sure you can eat even though your hands are tied." He said before turning back.
"Wait! Please! Just let me go. I'll help find your princess. I'm a great tracker if you must know." Maddie said. The boy turned back to her. "And why should I believe you?"
"Because I'm telling the truth. Let me tell you one thing, I'm not like any other girl that gets kidnapped and waits around to be rescued. I don't like being the damsel in distress." Madeline firmly said.
"But they'll found out that I was tye one who let you go." He said. "They don't have to know if we put up a good show." The princess smiled.
"You help me escape, I'll help you find your princess. Do we have a deal?"

"Kaw Chief! Kaw Chief! Kaw Chief!"
The Indian Chief got out of his hut when he heard one of his men shouting, sounding so urgent. "What happened?!"
The boy, who happened to be at the Chief's hut, also went outside to check what happened.
"Girl missing! Girl escaped!" The guard said. The Kaw Chief turned red from anger. "Find her!!! Immediately! Go!!!" The guard flinched at his Chief's booming voice. "Y-yes, Kaw Chief!" He immediately went to tell the others the orders and looked for their missing hostage.
"Kaw Chief, let me help." The boy said. The Chief nodded. "Yes, yes. You help, you good at not making me disappointed. Go."
The boy nodded and bowed. "Yes, Kaw Chief. I find the hostage." He smiled.

Madeline dashed through the trees. She escaped long before the guards could notice she was missing. She went to the place the boy told her to meet him. Good thing he agreed to their deal earlier. She learned a thing or two from Gold afterall.
She arrived at the shores and found him waiting. "You're fast." He compliments. Madeline smiled, "I thought I was late. I had to let them think I ran off somewhere."
"Clever. You really aren't the damsel in distress." He smiled. "Enough with the compliments. Did you bring it?"
He nodded and handed her a bow and some arrows, also a sword. "I'm sure they won't notice the missing weapons."
"Thanks."
"How did you do it, by the way? Did you use your teeth in cutting the rope?" He asked out of curiosity. Madeline laughed. "No. That would hurt! I used this." She showed a little dagger she always hid in her boots. "Impressive."
"I never got your name." Madeline said. "Jonathan. You can call me Nathan, Your highness."
Madeline took his hand. "Drop the formalities. Call me Madeline. Thank you."
"No, I should be thanking you. Despite what we did, you still want to help us. Thank you, Madeline."
"I believe someone told me, you can do anything just for the ones you love." She smiled. "Now, where did the last time you saw her tracks?"
"It's too dangerous. Maybe I should come with you-"
"No. Or else your tribe will found out you were behind my escape. Let me do my part of the deal." Madeline cuts off. Nathan sighed. "Her tracks were found near the dark hollows."
"Dark Hallows? The darkest forest in Neverland?" Nathan nodded. "That's why you needed Peter's help."
Madeline was surprised. Dark Hallows was the part of Neverland Peter strictly forbade her going into. And now she's disobeying him again. But for a good cause.
"How do I get there?"

"What do you mean they bloody lost her?!" Peter hit the table. Felix came back from the Indian Camp, telling him Madeline ran away and she's nowhere to be found.
"If she ran away, doesn't that mean a good thing? She's returning to camp." Devin said. "But with Madeline's speed of running she should be here right now."
"Not if she ran away to return here." Peter said, his instincts telling him Madeline is again endangering herself. "You think she wants to escape?" Felix asked.
"No. She's over with that."Peter clenched his jaw. "She's trying to help them."
He then rummaged through Madeline's clothes and found her handkerchief. He then mumbled a spell and ran through his hands on it.
The handkerchief glowed and floated in the air. "A locator spell.""It'll lead us straight to her. Let's move before those Indians find her."
