I mixed my milk into my coffee with my spoon, letting out a little yawn.

Bringing my mug over to my couch, I sat down comfortably and put on an episode of Saved By The Bell on Netflix, boy was that Zach Morris cute.

I took a sip of my coffee, but spit it out when I realized how hot it was.

"OOOOWW," I screamed as I ran to the kitchen to put some cold water in my mouth.

Luke came running in like there was no tomorrow in his little boxers.

"What the hell happened!?" He asked, still half asleep.

"Hot. Coffee," I said in between sips of water.

He groaned and dove into the couch.

Before I could sit back down, the door opened and Amy walked in with a box of donuts.

"Hey Amy," I greeted.

"Say no more, were going out. Get dressed," she said.

I looked at her confused, before being pushed into my room.

"But-but my coffee!" I shouted.

"I'll drink it!" I heard Luke shout back.

"Dress nice," she said before shutting my bedroom door.

What the hell?

I opened my closet and looked at all my clothes, trying to find something "nice" to wear.

Once I finally got my outfit I stood in front of my mirror and played around with my hair until I decided on a waterfall braid, extra nice.

I put on some makeup and grabbed my phone before coming back into the living room.

"So where are we going?" I asked.

"I can't tell you," she responded.

"Um why?"

"Because then you wouldn't go, now come on."

I hesitantly walked towards the door, I have to admit the only reason I'm going is because I trust Amy, but most importantly she has a box of donuts with her.

"So now can you tell me why I'm here?" I asked, eager to know as we sat down at the cafe table.

"All I'm saying is that we're gonna catch up with an old buddy, kay?" She responded.

I nodded my head suspiciously and took my mug of cafe latte from the waitress as she handed it to me.

I put the mug against my lips, but before I could take a sip I placed it down to cool for a bit, remembering what had happened this morning.

"So, when is this 'old friend' gonna show up?" i asked.

"actually, hes here right now," she responded, nodding her head towards the front door.

I turned around and froze, this is not happening.

I pushed my chair back and stood up, running towards the exit, but was stopped by amy.

"Im not talking to him. Uh uh, im not ready," I said, trying to push past her, tears welling up in my eyes.

"Scarlet, hes caused a lot of pain to you. Dont you think you need some closuer? You just had a panic attack because Maz mentioned him. You need to talk to him, it'll help you," she told me sypathetically.

I wiped a tear off my face and hesantly walked towards him, Amy pushing me.

I got a good look at him, his faded jeans with his hands in the pockets of his leather jacket.

His messy black hair and his hypnotizing eyes that trapped me for two years.

I walked up to him and gave him a small wave, not dating to look in his eyes.

"Wow, you're not how you used to look," he said.

"Um is that a compliment?" I asked, narrowing my eyes a bit.

"Yes it is. You look beautiful," he responded. I rolled my eyes.

"Gee thanks Damian. That makes everything better, you know that compliment really makes me see what a good person you are, yay we made up bye!" I said in a cheery sarcastic tone.

He looked down at me and this time I couldn't help looking in his eyes, big mistake.

I saw the guilt all over his face and I almost felt bad, but he did this to himself.

I couldn't break my gaze, and neither could he.

It brought back a lot of amazing memories.

He was my first kiss, my prom date, I lost my virginity to him, but most of all he was my first love.

It also brought back the bad memories, how he cheated on me, how after I finally took him back he cheated on me again, how I didn't feel like I was enough for him, enough for anyone.

"How about we go on a walk, its more...peaceful," he explained, still examining all of my features.

I sighed and followed him out the door, looking behind me at Amy mouthing to me "he's so hot!"

I chuckled a bit and we started to walk.

"Shut up I won that fish fair and square at that amusement park!" I said, playfully hitting Damian's arm.

"Gee, that hurt" he said sarcastically, causing me to giggle.

I didn't even realize that I was still wearing his jacket.

"Your laugh is adorable, I miss hearing it," he said.

I should probably stop laughing now.

He reached down, trying to grab my hand but I pulled back, taking off the jacket and handing it to him.

"Listen Damian. I have a boyfriend that I'm very happy with. He treats me like a princess and he means the world to me, so I don't know what you were trying to get out of this, a relationship or sex, but all I was trying to get out of this was closure and a chance to forgive you. So thanks for coming to talk, maybe we could become good friends," I said, meaning every word.

He nodded and gave me a small smile.

I gave him a hug, to which he returned with his warm arms wrapped around me, his head nuzzled in my neck, God his hair was soft.

I let go and stood on my tippy toes, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

When I let go his eyes were still closed, savoring the soft peck I gave him, causing me to smile.

"Well, incase you didn't notice, this is my apartment building, so I guess I'll see you around," I said.

He nodded and began walking away, looking back one last time and waving.

I waved back and walked inside.

No more panic attacks for me!
