Making A New Friend

I plopped that last box down and a felling of relief ran all over my body.

"We did it!l I screamed

"Shhh. No one likes a noise maker haha" said maz

I gave him a high five and hugged him. I don't know why I did I mean I don't even know the guy, but he helped me a lot so I'm thankful.

"Thank you so much maz you are such a great help."

"No problem I'm glad to help a pretty girl like you" he said with a smirk.

I blushed and looked down until I figured out what to say.

"So where do you live?"

"Next door"

"Really?!"

"YA I guess we're neighbors haha"

I acted casual but on the inside I was really happy that he lived next door because he's pretty cool, and to be honest, he's not that bad looking.

He walked around and looked at everything in my apartment. I got a text from Amy asking me to video chat and I secretly texted her, giving her the code 13.

"Wow your kitchen is big!"

"Ya I like to cook and bake"

"Oh so that's what the wisk was for"

I giggled to myself.

"Oh so you think I'm funny?"

"I thought you didn't hear that haha"

He plopped himself on the floor since there was no furniture and gestured me to sit with him.

"No offense...maz but I don't really know you so I think you should wait until I invite YOU to sit on MY floor"

He smiled and looked down, and I plopped down next to him. now it was time for the interview.

"So where are you from? why are you here? do you know anyone here? how old are you? what are you doing for the rest of the day? do you think I'm cute? what's your number?"

I took a deep breath and got ready to answer quickly.

"I'm from New York I'm here for opportunities my best friend Amy is in the other building I'm 21 years old I'm unpacking for the rest of the day you are pretty cute and give me your phone" I breathed in and he looked at me in amazement. I held my hand out for his phone and he gave it to me. I punched in my number and gave him his phone back.

"So what about you maz? why are you here?"

"Same reason as you. I'm pretty popular if u ask me." he looked pretty serious.

"How so?"

"I make videos on a website called youtube with over 600,000 people who watch them...not to brag."

I quickly ran to get my Mac and looked up his username on YouTube. his account was immediately there.

"Awesome! I'll check it out."

He smiled and got up to leave.

"I'll see you around scarlet. hopefully we can hang out again." he winked and walked out.

"Thanks for the help!" I shouted as he left. a few seconds later after I closed my door my phone buzzed.
