Harrison and I were running and laughing, with him pulling me behind him by my wrist.
"Where are we going," i said while laughing.
"You'll see," he responded. He stopped and walked behind me. he covered my eyes with his hands and walked me towards the place.
"No peeking," he whispered, sending shivers down my neck.
He lifted his hands off my face and I saw a place that hit home.
It was the Scoops ice cream parlor, a place back home that I would go to every day, whether it be for ice cream or to just hang out.
"How-how did you know?" I asked in awe.
"I pay attention," he responded. We went inside and walked up to the counter.
"Um can we get one vanilla cone with chocolate sprinkles and for the pretty lady a coffee ice cream with cookie dough bits," he said.
The worker nodded and started putting them together.
"Not even Amy knows my usual, you really do pay attention huh?"
He nodded and I saw his cheeks darken, he was blushing!
I put the back of my hand on his check and giggled.
"Aw do I make you blush Har?" I asked.
"Shut up," he said with a smile creeping up his face.We got our ice cream and paid and sat down to eat at a booth.
I slid inside and Harrison slid in next to me.
After an hour of talking, laughing and eating I finally finished my ice cream.
"Ok I'm gonna go throw this out can you scooch," I said.
"Nope. your not leaving," he said with a smirk growing on his face.
"Why not?" I asked.
"Not unless you tell me that I'm the best person on the world," he said.
"Ok. your the best person in the world, now let me through."He got out and I followed behind him.
I threw out my cup and turned to him.
"You know your lucky your cute."

After spending a whole day full of adventure and fun with Harrison, I felt happier than I ever was before. I just couldn't stop smiling the whole day. It's like whenever I'm with Harrison, I'm just a different person. Like I never feel a drop of sadness, it's all just laughter and fun, with some hints of romance and connection, which is how everybody's days should be like.
He brought me all over the place, us exploring every area and taking the best pictures, it's like those montages in the movies.
We finally went back to Harrison's place and he stopped outside the door.
"Look Scarlet, I know we're really good friends and you just got out of a relationship and all, but I can't hold these feelings in anymore. I've been holding them in for many months, and it's time for me to get my chance.
This day has been one of the best days of my life. being with you just makes me happy and there isn't anyone who can make me feel like how you make me feel. Now I'm not going to swoop in immediately and take you right away after your breakup, but I will eventually, and you can't stop me."I smiled and looked at my shoes. I really liked him too, and even though I just got single, I was cheated on and I owe it to myself to try and move on.
"Harrison, I'm not going to tell you that it's too soon, so do your...uh...swooping if you want."
We both laughed a little bit and our eyes met.
"Oh just kiss her already you big wimp!" I heard Amy scream through the door of Harrison's apartment.
"How does she just go to our apartments without us knowing all the-"
He cut me off with a kiss.
It startled me a bit, but then I eased up and put my hands on the sides of his face.
The kiss was soft and gentle, yet very powerful.
He broke the kiss and looked in my eyes and a smirk grew on his face.
"Swoop!" He shouted.
We went inside laughing, both of us very happy with what had just happened.
I would have never guessed Harrison would be the one who would end up with me today on this Valentine's Day.
If I was to be tested a few weeks ago I would have guessed it would be Maz, I mean that was the easiest answer since we were together a until a couple of weeks ago, but then again, I was never a really good test taker.
