"Ok children gather around I have something to say," Amy announced to everyone.

We all walked to her living room and sat on the couch, and I purposely sat next to Harrison instead of Maz.

"So as many of you know, Scarlet and Maz hate each other," she started to say.

"True," I responded.

"NOT TRUE! I know a secret relationship when I see one. I'm your best friend, I'm bound to figure these things out. I know everything missy, EVERYTHING. YOU CANT HIDE ANYTHING FROM ME!" She yelled humorously.

"Alright calm down. Yeah, it's true. happy?" I announced.

"Very," she responded as she strutted away to the kitchen.

I stood up and walked towards the door.

"Anyways I gotta go to the Diner to meet with my friend Zoe, see Ya," I said.

I walked into the diner and took a seat at the bar.

While waiting for Zoe, I got a text from her saying she couldn't make it. Great, I drove all the way here for nothing, well at least I can get a drink now.

"I'll take a-"

"Scarlet!"

I turned to see...gulp...Layla.

I quickly got up and fast walked towards the door. I swung it open and left with her voice screaming my name behind me.

Dammit why did I have to walk here.

"Scarlet please wait!" She screamed.

"Why Layla? So you can 'apologize' for manipulating me for months trying to break Maz and I up? Well it worked, so there's nothing to apologize for."

"No! So I can tell you I changed! I'm not obsessed with Maz anymore, in fact I have a legit boyfriend so there's nothing to worry about," she explained.

"Oh, well I'm glad your a changed girl. Have a good day," and with that I stormed off.

"Wait! Need a ride home? It's so hot out and I know I wouldn't want to be walking in this weather," she asked.

"Fine, thanks," I accepted.

I entered her car and she quickly ran into the diner because she forgot something and came back with a water bottle.

She got in and began to drive.

"Here, have some water. Its so hot outside," she offered.

"Thanks," I said as I took the water and sipped it.

She turned up the radio and kept driving.

I started to feel a bit dizzy and nauseous so I put my hands on my head.

"Are you ok?" Layla asked.

"Um I'm just feeling dizzy and a bit nauseous, can you turn on the air?" I asked.

She did as I asked but it wasn't helping.

"Um w-where are we going? This isn't the w-way to my ap-partment," I said.

"Shortcut," Layla responded, not keeping her eyes off the road.

"W-wow I'm not feeling good at all" I said as I got even more dizzy.

"Sorry to hear that, but we're almost there so don't worry," Layla responded.

My eyesight got blurry and the only thing I heard was the music getting fainter by the second.

"L-Layla," I managed to whimper out.

My vision went black and the last thing I heard was Layla's giggle.

"Night night Scarlet. We're gonna have so much fun together."
